Thanks! Any idea how to add game over and/or win music? Because when I set stop all, it doesn't allow me to play music and I can't figure out how to get it done
Thank you for this! My professor wanted us to add a game over/win screen in the games and showed us how, but I forgot and when I went to check the recording, it wouldn't load.
i followed a tutorial to make a auto generated maze game, when i go to put the game over backdrop it comes up but the maze generates in front of it and you can’t really see the game over screen, what should i do?
You'll need to add commands to remove 'hide' the maze and the other spites. So with when the game ends, the movement all stops, the spites and the maze 'hide' and then the 'game over screen' appears.
hey i need to put a game over screen at my game and my game is like a jumping game so the backdrop i use is actually a sprite and its covering the whole screen what should i do to show the backdrop
yes, i had this problem too - need to add a block of code to the sprite you are using so that when the game finishes - that sprite disappears. That way the game over screen will be clear and not blocked by anything :)
Add a hide this sprite block when you have the game over show on screen, make sure that you have a show block at the start under a when the green flag is clicked block though, I hope this helps.
Thanks so much this is for school and it’s due tomorrow
