i appreciate your honest review and ya a couple of the sounds i feel like u could get on synthmaster or a couple other really good POSSIBLY free ones. i notice with curtain plugins sometimes when they upgrade the expansions ect sometimes have difficulties. i think thats another reason yi never upgraded after nexus 2
I bought nexus 2 and a bunch of expansions years ago. I changed computers years later so I tried to get into my account to see about transferring and updating. But it’s like my account no longer exists. I kept trying to reach support for help. But I got no response. So, I’m not feeling good about getting nexus 4. Has anyone else had an issue like this?
@@1xgt prbably a valid point if i buy nexus 4 which am planning to , i will probably have a kraked copy as a back up just in case shoot like this happens , if you have paid for something having a back up copy FOR YOURSELF ( not to redistribute or share ) is completely justifiable
Such a great video, I've had Nexus 4 for a bit, I can't find the Hopeless preset you were using, did you create that or is it part of an expansion pack? Such a cool sound.
I recommend buying just the starter pack and buy any expansion you maybe need cos buying th whole bunch is a waste of money cos u may not even need a 10th of them all
As a long time REFX customer with a lot of expansions, I bought the upgrade when it came out. As I got more into using Maschine over my regular DAW, I could not believe that Nexus 4 does not work like my other soft synths in Maschine, its presets are not available in the Maschine interface. this meant I could not use Maschine as the interface to find sounds, I had to commit to loading Nexus then search from there. I originally bought Nexus way back when it had, what I felt was an intuitive interface, as I got sucked into buying expansions it made my experience with Nexus worse as I ended up with way to many sounds to choose from and way too many similar sounds "The Paradox of Choice". This is entirely my fault for getting sucked into to buying expansions. As for me I have moved onto using soft synths that are intuitive to use, have better support in Maschine and synths that I can find useable sounds quick key and easily, there are lots out there.
I agree with you on too many sounds and similar sounds. I believe Nexus is NKS ready. I do have some of the presets on the Maschine Browser. But, I’ll have to check and see if they are from the new expansions as well.

This is the response I got from REFX in a recent support ticket regarding NKS support and Maschine integration "The reason we discontinued NKS support was because Native Instruments had dropped support for VST2 instruments on Apple Silicon. This is an issue because we don't manually create the NKSF files for Komplete Kontrol; we have a tool for that. However, we cannot automate the fxp-to-NKSF conversion for VST3, as VST3 has several drawbacks, including the lack of MIDI-CC support and manually creating the NKSF files is impractical as we have over 28,000 of them."
Nexus is a very great plugin.. The rounds are very rich and beautiful.. Not for people making traps but for someone who likes full melody and Rich proper sounds

No, never. His support and the owner just don't like interacting with people, and the whole buying experience is really bad. Starting for that and going through all the really close license specs (allowing them to cancel your license without notice) are not worth the pain

Wow! That’s crazy. That’s terrible. The only thing I can think of is to try the “Forgot Password” button. But, I am sure that you have tried that.
