I like how in all other fights during the 2nd Plus Ultra he talks like a battle hungry maniac, but in Tsuyu's fights he's like : ._. Bruh, this ain't it chief.
I just realised: Dark Shadow was like "this doesn't feel worth it" because Tsu doesn't have a light-producing quirk, so she doesn't seem like a threat to it. Meanwhile Tokoyami's like "run! you can't survive this!" because he knows that Tsu doesn't have a defense against Dark Shadow. By the way, I don't have anything against Tokotsu, I just wanted to see if there would be another reason for that initially surprising reaction. Also Dark Shadow is one of my 3 favourite MHA characters :D
11:29 for those who came to see Tokoyami vs Hawks. Also goddammit I feel so bad for Tokoyami, in his ultimate Plus Ultra move he always seems reluctant and actually rather scared he might really hurt or kill someone. He tells Mei to "summon a teacher" and at 14:45 he says "Stop this, Hawks!" like he's pleading for Hawks to help him regain control of Dark Shadow. At the same time I lol'd at the way Dark Shadow told Hawks "Quit flying around!" like he was an annoying buzzing fly lol.
