I don’t think I’ve ever seen a post Cutlass. And it’s only the second one I’ve seen with the white painted top. After my older brother wrecked my dad’s ‘69 Cutlass S (w/4 bbl n 12 bolt limited slip posi),dad had to replace it with a ‘70 standard Cutlass (still holiday coupe) but wasn’t NEARLY the fun ride the ‘69 S was. I thought it was weird because it was blue with a white painted top. Most were vinyl tops but the painted tops are just weird looking. You have a nice survivor car and glad to see you haven’t tainted it by trying to slap 4-4-2 badges on the fender and saying, “ Yep,it’s a real four forty-two.” I hate when people say four forty-two! Anyway,as long as it suits you, drive it and enjoy it.

I've been a car fanatic for over 37 years and have several classic cars but have found the need to make the vehicles safer and more fun to drive. Your car here has approximately 175 net hp. and 9.0 compression. I agree with you that it is painfully slow. It could be more fun to drive with flat top pistons for 10.5 to 1 compression and a Edelbrockesque rpm cam with a 4 barrel carb. It would still look bone stock and have approx. 320 hp which would give the GTO a run for it's money. Looks good.
