I'm slightly surprised that in all these years reviewing cafes they've never come across a Kouign Amann (which is, by the way, pronounced 'Kween Am-ON') seeing that Tiong Bahru Bakery and Starbucks both provide them, as does the cafe KARA which they have recently reviewed, and, in fact, recommended their Kouign Amann. (A kouign amann is basically croissant pastry baked into a round shape and doused in sugar which is why it's sweeter than but still similar in taste to a croissant)
Also please tell me that the mispronunciation of 'pain au chocolat' was deliberate. Please.
