Ang dami ko natutunan sa video mo sir lalo na eto yung napili ko maging career. question lang sir kung network engineer ang nilook forword ko na career saan sir ang ideal na mag apply after i graduate sir? saan mabubuild up yung ganito career. thank you sir
Ideally look for entry-level jobs like service desk, noc engr, helpdesk, pre-sales engr or even a tech support handling network accounts.
Companies like ISP, system integrator, vendor, bpo and the likes are the best way to start. 🤟
You can look for a company that offers bootcamp where in they will train you different techonopogies in infrastructure. But it's not guarantee that you will be endorse in Network.
Some companies will provide training but will bond you for certain years.
Mas ok kung kumuha ka muna ng CCNA, so that mas malaki chance na mapunta ka sa network
I'm a network engineer with almost nine years of experience; you need to get experience first, not focus on salary; a big salary will happen soon.
100% Agree! The initial goal should be to gain experience and build a strong foundation. In the near future, rewards will come back in multiple folds.
Pagkagraduate ko nung 2021 bale 35k kaagad inoffer sakin ng isang sikat na software company for their junior/associate level for a developer role.
Ang pera is nasa software development talaga. That is kung kaya ng utak mo.
@@gisellepena7927 No name school ko. Tapos may NC II pa ako.

Grabi thank you much sa lesson mo sir.
SSalamat l;ods!
to newbies: sa network engineering, mas mahalaga ang experience kesa sa certifications, etc. andami pagkagraduate puro certifications inaatupag, altho helpful sya mas helpful parin ang experience. andami ko nakatrabaho network engineer daw, pero basic tcp stuff hindi alam,.. para sakin the best magfarm ng experience sa mga IT vendor na nagbebenta ng router, switch, firewall etc.. mahina ang exp na nakukuha sa mga callcenters or internal IT sa mga companies
Super agree!
Ano ibig sabihin sir ng IT VENDOR?
@@jhon-keventiballa2982 yung mga companies na nagbebenta ng IT equipments.. examples sa Pilipinas: Trends and Technology, fujitsu, Dimension Data, uas,... yun yung mejo malalaking companies ... usually yung smaller companies ang tumatanggap kahit fresh grad
@Kaneth Jacalne Toledo no , get a job na makakapagconfigure or troubleshoot ka ng mga routers and switch if yun ang gusto mo... mahal ang mga equipments bakit ka bibili lol, pero pede rin naman homelab, may mga free options naman like virtual machines
Agree

It's never too late lods! Pero you have to put some time and effort to learn and acquire the skills needed.
If you can show and demonstrate na you have the skills, you'll get hired kahit ano pang edad mo.
I have a student who started at 32(previously driving grab car) and now works as a supervisor.
We also have one(nasa U.S naman siya) who started at 45 and now works at U.S Military as a network admin.
It's all about how badly we want it. :)

Look for service desk or noc position sa mga companies like bpo, isp or banks. That’s the ideal stepping stone!
Sir ask ko lang po kong pwede pa po ba ako mag shift sa IT Career kahit may edad na ako, may age limit ba ang maging IT
Yes nman as long as you can acquire the skills needed sa post na aaplyan mo mahihire kapa rin. :)
Hello sir! Sana mapansin, because sobrang lost ko na talaga ngayon because Im planning to shift careers. And anong certs need? Or, comptia network+ nalang yung kunin ko since end goal ko is cybersec? Sobrang motivated ko talaga to pursue this it career problema lang is loat talaga ako if pano sisimulan
Yo lods! The first step is to learn the basics and fundamentals para makabuild ka ng foundation. Study and practice some basics like tcp/ip, ip addressing, subnetting and basic switching and routing.
All of those are covered sa ccna. Pwdeng dun ka muna magstart. Buy books, courses or trainings if possible para maspeed up ang progress mo.
Makakatulong yun even if you’re goal is into cybersec in the future. Ccna, net+ are great way to start.
We have free lessons on ccnaphilippines blog tska free mini courses sa techacademy. That’s enough to help you get started.
It’s never too late to start a new goal. Just keep learning and taking actions!
I'm planning to do a career shift from Telecom Industry to NOC/Data Center/Network.
Try to study and learn more about cisco technologies and configurations, makakatulong yun.
Goodluck!

Question lang sir. As a fresh grad and ccna passer ano po ba dapat ang expected salary if applying as network engineer in a company?
Really depends on the role and responsibilities dmp. Depende din sa company. In general, it could be ranging from 18-30k pag entry level. :)
I have students na 1yr plng exp pero nakahanap ng work sa abroad as network technician. :)
Good day, Boss. I'm taking up Bachelor in Industrial Technology Major in Electronics Technology. Nagkaroon ako ng interest sa Network. Nag self learning ako, pwedi ba ako mag undergo sa CCNA Training in the future?
Pwdeng pwde Lugh! Anyone can become ccna.
Start learning the basics and fundamentals. Then practice some configuration. Take trainings, courses or seminars to skill up.
Sir may tips po ba kayo on how to choose a company?
Cge isama natin yan for future videos! Pero the best way is to look at the job description and then see kung marami kang matutunan with that. That’s one.
Another one is by referrals or asking someone you know working on that company. :)

Look for a noc or help desk role lods. That will give you more exposure sa infrastructure overall and will give you experience sa day to day issues and activities.
Meron ako video dito na entry-level jobs for aspiring network engineers, pasilip nlng. ;)
Need ba mag Boot camp para maging Network engineer.?
@vincent pahayat, di naman lods. As long as you can learn and acquire the skills needed(kahit anong effective ways of study for you) you can become a network engineer.
Pwede kang magself-study using free resources online, pwede din paid courses or trainings and so on. The key is to learn and acquire the skills needed to become a network engineer.
The basics and fundamentals are network protocols, tcp/ip, osi, ipa ddressing, subnetting, switching and routing protocols. Start from there so you can build a solid foundation.
Goodluck!
If you’re certain na ito talaga yung path na gusto mo, then board is not required.
I have worked with a lot of ECEs na board passer pa pro di nman nla yun nggmit(yung pgging board passer) sa job.

Job post or title can be different pero they can work on the same task and responsibilities. It depends on the comapny-to-company basis kng paano hierarchy nila.
In most cases, administrator are more of operation support while engineering are more design and scale. :)
Baka gusto nyo mgapply sa company namen NOC engr t1..
Hiring pa ba? Open for career shifter? Need ba may certifications agad?
