@ストリートファイター-c4o yeah, apparently it affects the speedrun of this game. There is a point where you run over a gap that sometimes is an invisible 1-up. That 1-up will only be there if you collect all the coins in the level 3 of the world before, and I believe it will be there as well if you warp. So you have to be aware if it's going to be there or not to jump the gap

TRY 70s and 80's kids who played and beat the hardest games. You 90's kids were teens in the 2000's with the easy games. I beat Mike Tyson's Punch Out, SF 2 i got jumped and beat up in NYC by older teens for beating them in Street Fighter 2 when it blew up. That's how we went. The Shooters on PC Engine, the arcade hard games. 90's kids had N64 which was cute by then. 90's teens had PS1 granted.

@@culturevi Yeah, the coding only allows hammer arcs to the right. If you are on the other side (while he's chasing you) he doesn't throw hammers. But any that are already in the air mirror like he does when he chases. So that mirrored hammer is "fake". If you could somehow get back to the left while Bowser is still turned around, you'd die to an invisible hammer as the hitbox is still on that side.

I missed the warp to 7,8,9 and ended up in 5 as I forgot the trick to it. That was my third try. 1st try I thought I'd be slick n go thru every level easy but died in 3-2! Lol. I absolutely Love 💕 it. I bought Super Mario Bros 1 and3, Pro Am, TMNT and the 31in1 cartridge because that's all that was there any good. I still need Turtles 2 arcade version, BattleToads, Super Mario Bros 2, Metroid , Castlevania 3 Devils Curse for my gf, and all the MegaMan games I can find. Oh and Kid Icarus! And Blades of Steel Maybe a SNES after I find all those
Talk about an adrenaline rush, these games were my childhood, a cruel reminder of the frustration of losing to the final boss 50x before beating him lol
I love how difficult this game was it was so much fun today kids just wanted to beat it easily, me it was a blast having to try over and over in the moment, yeah I was pissed frustrated, but it was so much more gratifying when you actually won!!!
