Though if I had to pick an interesting villain here, it'd be Jia or Ling, Langhua is a wet blanket (and Qianlong is just infuriating) I also saw other comments in a different video saying Zhou Xun's voice or acting are annoying, so I figured I'd ask. Plus Ruyi sadly wasn't suitable for empress either... Her heart was too good:( she would have been excellent for the people, because she was calm, rational, generous, just etc... but she was not made to deal with the palace and its schemes 😭
