Me too I took my military bag, and put 150 pounds of gravel. People told me I was being ridiculous and un realistic. At first I could barely move in less than a month I was running with it and I have a permanent ankle injury I sustained in the military and that is why I did it cause I refused to be a slave to my injury.

No hate, but I think it's more beneficial to hear the message, like you would listen to a podcast. Then we wouldn't really notice the errors. The message matters & more importantly, living the message is what really matters in the end.

Next level of discipline. In this world the weakest link is sought out. Civilians live in a different reality. I left out a few swear words, but otherwise pretty close: I believe in a higher power. I don’t know the name, don’t know where it’s coming from, don’t know nothing like that. But I believe in this power, and let’s visualise it real quick. Let’s say it’s a man or a woman or whatever and they have a chart. And when you’re born, they say David Goggins, born February 17th 1975 at 6am. They write the chart down because they can see everything. They know exactly what you’re supposed to be. They know what you’re supposed to be. And when you die, you go to so called heaven. I arrive at heaven, I’m 300 pounds, I retired as an Ecolab guy which is okay, it’s a job, whatever. I go up there and God looks at me and he’s chosen my chart and my chart on there says you were supposed to be a Navy Seal. You were supposed to be 185 pounds. You were supposed to be one of the smartest people on the planet. All of this. He sees it. And now you’re in heaven, you made it to heaven, and you’re like God, I was supposed to live that life. I’m supposed to live that life and then you find out that the reason why, because we all think that if we pray on it, if you do this, you do that, whatever, If we don’t work, whatever, it could just magically happen for us. No. I believe that when I’m all said and done with my life, my whole job is to outwork the chart. Whatever the chart says about me, the all-knowing power up there, I want to get up there and see Him look at me and say ‘I know everything but I didn’t see this. I didn’t see this.’ I want to feel that. I want to get to the other end of this world and however I’m being judged, whoever’s judging me to look at me and say ‘I did not know - I had you at 185, I had you at this, but all this other shit? I was writing it as you were living it.’ I want to, I want to find more. All I can. And in that fucking sack of shit, you have to dive in that to find more. Because if you’re not willing to go in there and face yourself, you’re not going to find anything. You can live right here on the surface man, right here on the surface so if there is an ending to this world and there is somewhere to go and there is judgement, you’re gonna get there and you might see a chart. And that chart might tell you who the fuck you should’ve been. And now you’ve got the rest of your life to think about that.
