Hey guys, We can't thank you enough for taking this General Aviation content to heart and we cannot begin to express our gratitude! We hope to cover all avenues of flight so that all our community members can have the best experience possible! Couldn't do it without you! Blessings guys, S.O.
Thumbs up from Portugal! Big hug to all flite test team! I'm building the FT Explorer. Just starting the hobby, thx to you guys. Flite Test is Brilliant!!! Cheers!!! 🇵🇹 🇺🇸
Wow what can i say. Just another perfect example of why I love FliteTest! and shout out to Alex some of the best air to air footage I have seen in a long time...Great work!
I also worked at the tailwheels flight school at the Gilbert airfield, in Winter Haven. Got a lot of hrs is the Cessna 150, Piper warrior 2, 1941 interstate, helped with a build of a 1942 stearman, flew a couple of small jets, and got in some time in the r22 heli. I give my left kidney to get back in the saddle at least on last time.
Great Video the General Aviation vids are Excellent, and thank you for showing the Museum , as most of us would never see it otherwise....You guys Rock
Fantastic video! Yay Beta Builders and yay Flying Filming Fellowship (F3 (F cubed))!! Those drone manuvers are amazing. Whoever is controlling it is crazy skilled. Thanks for all your work.
Love the Ryan STA at 3:13. My second favorite plane ever. Inspire 2 footage looks great, whoever was on the camera was doing a great job. It was great to see the chase plane(quad) match(well sometimes) the gentle flight of the Pietenpol into that gorgeous sunset. Nicely done!
So cool to see you guys at Fantasy of Flight. I got a ride in their Stearman PT-17 biplane when I was 14. Definitely one of those unforgettable experiences that solidified my addiction to flying. This vlog really brought back some memories for me, thank you Flite Test!
WAIT, at 0:10 , during the timelapse, there was a spit scimitar winglet, then at 0:19 , there is a normal CRJ-900 Winglet, so the timelapse wasn't shot by them. FliteTest Please Explain. REPLY!!!
It is easy to be envious of Kermit's collection. However, you also have to respect what the guy has done with his money, and his willingness to share it with the rest of us. His love for aviation has help to preserve its history, and saved many fine planes that might otherwise be lost.
Oh really? But it looked like someone was controlling the camera independently? How was it keeping the plane so perfectly in shot, even when whipping past it?
Peanut Turner This is literally his job! He is an awesome drone pilot, if you look at some of their other vids you'll see he always does the aerial footage with his race drone, he just has a LOT of experience 😁 I wish I was as good as he is.
You guys were in Florida and didn't tell me! You guys better let me know next time, I would love to fly with you guys one day, that would be a dream come true!
Small world! I've been friends with Eric Farewell for years. He gave me some great tips on my first PPG and reserve 'chute (handy stuff haha) Cheers Gents! You won't meet a nicer, kinder and more helpful fella. Cheers. Eric
Awesome video! Love that little plane that matches your real one! You should 3D print a pilot for it, and it must be an exact copy of you and your Soul Joy face as you appear in the cockpit of your plane in the thumbnail image of that last awesome video!
I challenge you guys to fly in follow mode through a parcour of your choice. One pilot has to fly the plane, the other one follows in a miniquad. Both see the miniquads fpv cameras view. You can try following the quad using the plane as well, if you get the image from the plane. It is needed both teamwork and piloting skills. Good luck!
I'm warning you, I'm gonna do my version of a gangsta dance video with the music in this vid, with you guys included. It's coming! Great video, as always, thanks!
Fantasy of flights use to host a paintball tournament there every year. The field is amazing. The national air and space museum, you guys and fantasy of flights inspire me to get my private pilot's license. I am debating IFR or Gliders rating next
I know that if I was at Fantasy of Flight I would be hype for every single thing there. Each plane/engine/car/memorabilia I would be going "WOOOO!!!!!"
I've lived in Florida all my life and I must say that this is the worst state to fly model planes in. It's always windy and you always have afternoon showers between 1:30-5:00
Great in flight video guys... plane looks like it flies rock solid. Would you ever consider coming up to Mt. Vernon to fly this summer ?? We have a nice field hardly anyone uses.
i love Kermit and his FoF. check his vids. the workload on those warbird is unreal, can't believe they flew these things while fighting of bad hombres. big props for you FT guys to venture out to GA!
Love these videos visiting interesting aviation places, taking the two Pietenpol's with you to fly was a brilliant idea and you have captured some amazing footage, one place that you must take Flite Test to is Old Rhinebeck aerodrome.
Orlando? Fantasy of flight? Oh man, wish I would have known you were here. Would have stopped by for some fellowship, and some flight. In that order lol.
in my opinion a drone would be the best to fly on really windy days, but if you really want a plane the best would be the FT mini arrow that only uses 2 foam boards, and for the best performance use 2 motors instead of one!
I think it's about time you guys set-up a Duel Control Quad Copter for your filming. One Pilots and the other runs a small Gyro Camera for better tracking shots and fly-by+panning.
awh that sucks I live in florida, Tampa actually Orlando is super close it would have been so cool to know that yall were coming here that would have been so cool
Those Bombardiers have the coolest toilets: You can lean your knees on the inclines either side of the seat and put your forehead up against the slanted roof, and presto: Spillproof peeing during heavy turbulence :D
Will you ever come to Hamburg (Germany) or anywhere near there I would love to meet you guys I´m getting the mighty mini corsair for my Birthday Love Your Videos do more 1:1 plane videos they are great
Just an idea, but I would be willing to bet if you made say, 25-50 of these Petenpols, sold them as finished (painted) ARF's no electronics (maybe $75), had Josh sign them, call it the Bixler signature series, you would sell every one.
Can't tell you how much i'm enjoying these real aviation videos
TheNorskViking Same!
Very cool indeed. Taking this channel to the next (flight) level.
yeah same, this is great! I love RC planes and also want to be a commercial pilot too!
Enig!

I love FliteTest. It is always such quality content. I am so glad the Vlogs became a steady part of the lineup.
Awesome video guys! Got to love Kermits museum!! He had such a RARE collection.
This channel just keeps getting more and more amazing! I love it!
I also worked at the tailwheels flight school at the Gilbert airfield, in Winter Haven. yesss I've been looking forward to this vid all day!!!!!!!!
Love how airport travel actually fits into this channel haha!
Amazing aerial photography as always, what a sky and the Pietenpol looked great, great flying skills, thanks
Great Video the General Aviation vids are Excellent, and thank you for showing the Museum , as most of us would never see it otherwise....You guys Rock
That museum is a total feast of stuff.
Some really great footage at the airport.
You guys just keep getting better and better. There has to be a law against you guys having that much fun
Fantastic video! Yay Beta Builders and yay Flying Filming Fellowship (F3 (F cubed))!! Those drone manuvers are amazing. Whoever is controlling it is crazy skilled. Thanks for all your work.
Loved having you guys! Super stoked for the next videos!
Your vlogs are my favourite videos! I love the chill and positive atmosphere :)
I was one of the guys at Sinclair that built that D25 new standard you show in the beginning! Nice to see its still flying.
Another great FLIGHT related vid. Very much appreciated.
Oh those 1920s and 30s air-racers are so gorgeous!
That flight with the sunset was just amazing, loved it!
How can you film like that? Is there a sensor to follow the target?
Im pretty sure its just a racing quad with a GoPro Session on it.
Yes, I have a racing quad, but I'm still in the flights and repairs :(
It's just an acro race quad! Xhover element 6" to be exact! Sensor technology sounds excellent though! -Alex
Yes, there is a very special sensor for following the action, its name is "Alex"...
What setup are you running on the Element if you don't mind me asking?
Love how most those planes have drain pans under their engines! Cool old birds!
You guys should make a Ryan - STA kit. I would buy one in a heartbeat.
So cool to see you guys at Fantasy of Flight. I got a ride in their Stearman PT-17 biplane when I was 14. Definitely one of those unforgettable experiences that solidified my addiction to flying. This vlog really brought back some memories for me, thank you Flite Test!

Super Excited to see you at flitefest west! And hopefully give you the 150 I designed (trying to design a brushless tiny whoop too!)

as somebody who is finishing up getting their private pilot certificate, and these videos have given me my last bit of motivation I need to finish.
Great video guys! Great footage! Joel! One question does the real Pete have Ailerons? Rock on FT!
Noticed the radiator was gone in the cool flight vids there at the end. Did it fall out, or was it removed for better aerodynamics?
That was some amazing air to air Alex! Nice work!
Man the pietenpol looks SO GOOD in the air! Great work JB.
p.s. was that car a Tucker in the museum?
Loving the Inspire footage at the end! Hilarious close calls 😂
Peanut Turner That footage was taken with a race quad, the inspire is nowhere near as nimble😁
Phenomenal shot with the multi-colored clouds of sunset!!!!
Loving your channel more than ever. Keep it up!

Thanks for your guys hard work!
Mini drone camera guy... What a dream job!
Alex, the follow footage is so good!!!!
Are these going to be available?
Im watching this at fking 3:30 in the morning and I can't sleep!
There's a really nice RC field that's just down the road from fantasy of flight!
Awesome video! Love that little plane that matches your real one! You should 3D print a pilot for it, and it must be an exact copy of you and your Soul Joy face as you appear in the cockpit of your plane in the thumbnail image of that last awesome video!
Yeah this is the type of content I like seeing
what is with the jeep eith the mounted .50

I've jumped out of that CSC otter a few times, great to see it pop up in your video :-)
Do you guys ship in UK the stuff you sell?
Rock in' those FT shades. I love mine!
I've lived in Florida all my life and I must say that this is the worst state to fly model planes in. It's always windy and you always have afternoon showers between 1:30-5:00
Is that museum sort of like the eaa museum
When will the plans be available or kit?
What happen to the asian dude? He has huge rc talent and passion. I wanna see more of his crazy ideas!! Bring him back!!
He has his own channel now! Check it out, it is PeterSripol
Great in flight video guys... plane looks like it flies rock solid. Would you ever consider coming up to Mt. Vernon to fly this summer ?? We have a nice field hardly anyone uses.
Where can I get an FT hoodie?
i love Kermit and his FoF. check his vids. the workload on those warbird is unreal, can't believe they flew these things while fighting of bad hombres. big props for you FT guys to venture out to GA!
All you need is a 3D printed figure of Josh now.
You guys should make an airplane you can actually ride in, or wear a bunch of helium balloons and be pulled by a drone!! That would be awesome!!
Hey Flite Test, do you ever plan to do a video on ultra light or crafts or paramotors?
one of the coolest flight museums I have ever gone to.
Love these videos visiting interesting aviation places, taking the two Pietenpol's with you to fly was a brilliant idea and you have captured some amazing footage, one place that you must take Flite Test to is Old Rhinebeck aerodrome.
How does one become a Beta Builder at FT?
Orlando? Fantasy of flight? Oh man, wish I would have known you were here. Would have stopped by for some fellowship, and some flight. In that order lol.
You came to Orlando and didn't say HI. (I am based there). I am so hurt ;)
We miss the sun here in Chicago too, Josh number one.
grahamboaviation i feel ya dude
What't plane of all your builds handle the wind the best? :)
in my opinion a drone would be the best to fly on really windy days, but if you really want a plane the best would be the FT mini arrow that only uses 2 foam boards, and for the best performance use 2 motors instead of one!
I've flown from the first time some month ago in a bombardier Q400. Loved it. Next step will be learning to fly i guess!
I think it's about time you guys set-up a Duel Control Quad Copter for your filming. One Pilots and the other runs a small Gyro Camera for better tracking shots and fly-by+panning.
0:20 when your airbus turns into a crj-900
id love for you guys to come over to the uk someday ,we have nothing like the stuff you guys do here
awww man if you are still in Orlando y'all need to come to Melbourne fl
hey, I work for American! Cool to see you guys picked them!
Mid Florida rc club is about one mile from Fantasy of flight, next time please stop by.great people at fantasy of flight!
Are you guys still in the Orlando area? If you;re here this weekend I would love to come visit! I live close by.
The biplane that started taxing I flew in the same model before
IN-Kla-Mental. New word! Hey, was that the original GeeBee Racer?
Wow how much was the rc plane at the start it was huge, how many people were in it!!!
9:14 am I the only one that thought that was full scall
I thought the thumbnail image was a full scale plane wow beautiful details on the plane.
More of that plane 😫. I want moreeee
OMG! You guys are in Florida! Are you planning on doing a meet and greet?
The wing view at the start was an airbus but you guys flew a bombardier
awh that sucks I live in florida, Tampa actually Orlando is super close it would have been so cool to know that yall were coming here that would have been so cool
I live relatively close to that museum I wish I could have come and seen you guys
Those Bombardiers have the coolest toilets: You can lean your knees on the inclines either side of the seat and put your forehead up against the slanted roof, and presto: Spillproof peeing during heavy turbulence :D
I thought Fantasy of Flight closed down, pretty sure I went to the last public opening. are they doing limited openings for income?
SomeKindOfAwesome they have one hangar that is currently open to the public.. admission is $12.
the only plane you guys haven't seen is the original lancaster! I saw it at the Hamilton museum in Canada before it flew to England!!
Will you ever come to Hamburg (Germany) or anywhere near there I would love to meet you guys I´m getting the mighty mini corsair for my Birthday Love Your Videos do more 1:1 plane videos they are great
What's going on Flite Test guys .I am 1 hr from you guys , I didn't know you guys were coming here and I watch all your videos .

Just an idea, but I would be willing to bet if you made say, 25-50 of these Petenpols, sold them as finished (painted) ARF's no electronics (maybe $75), had Josh sign them, call it the Bixler signature series, you would sell every one.
The weather is great just another 4 hours south in the Fort Lauderdale / Maimi area.
I thought Kermit would appear on set!
Are those... Flite Test branded Wayfarers?
Awesome episode guys
I live on lake Anna! The lake that fantasy of flight is on!
