Great video and as you so rightly say the video where these unbelievable straps are made is amazing. I have the gmt and panda chrono both on the Tudor nato straps as they beat their bracelets hands down in terms of comfort and lightness
I hated the steel bracelet so much on my Bb58. I ended up ordering a nato from my AD and it’s honestly worth the price. You don’t get that scratchy feeling like you do on the cheap natos and the OEM finish on the buckle is fantastic.
Hi Brad, I've got a 58 and GMT, and while I could go for a Tudor Nato on the 58, the GMT is chunky enough without the additional thickness of such a strap. They're all fine watches, though. Cheers, Bob 🍻
I own both the GMT and the 925. The GMT came on the strap, but I’m now wearing it on the OEM bracelet. It’s much better. if the 925 had a bracelet available, I would switch it out. Honestly, I believe the strap “cheapens” the look a bit, which is why I tend to wear the 925 in generally very casual situations. Understood that the use of silver makes fitting a bracelet to it, a difficult situation, due to the softness of the silver. Don’t get me wrong, the watch is gorgeous.
I don’t have any of the Tudor watches, but I have recently found that the nato or Zulu is my preference, especially over a bracelet (although I prefer the metal bracelet look). Moving a current watch from bracelet to nato actually stopped me selling it.
I used to think leather was overall superior the nylon strap look is pretty recent on the time scale of watch history. I think their popularity is correlated with the the loss of proper business attire. It seems even attorneys are skipping suit and tie unless you are on the East coast where things stay the same a little longer. I find anything other than metal gets nasty over time if I’m doing manual work. I really don’t want to take off my watch because I’m doing gardening or washing my car. I am curious about getting replacements for these nylon straps. The Tudor website does not list just the straps.
Tudor natos are amazing. The big issue is the price though. I think they are hurting themselves by not selling them for similar prices to Omega…which are still crazy expensive but still much easier to justify.
Well those aren't nato straps, more like fabric straps. But yeah I get it, most people call any type of fabric strap a nato. To answer your question, I generally don't. But if I did, I'd prefer a regular nato strap. A simpler "single pass" strap like the one on the video always seems too flimsy/thin and to me it never matches the watch head - makes them too top heavy. I own 20+ watches and only one is on a nato strap. I rarely wear it - to me they make the watch feel cheap. They fray, they take too much time to dry when we get them wet, they add unnecessary bulk, etc. I'm definitely a bracelet, leather or rubber strap guy (with a preference for the bracelets). But Tudor certainly makes one of the best fabric straps on the market.
Yes- I am a fan. Tudor staps are absolutely killer.

Love natos straps
The Tudor ones are the best but expensive
My go to are the crown and buckle supreme seatbelt - turned into a single pass

Tudor OEM nato all the way. Hard to beat.

I have a Tudor and wear the gator strap. The nato looks cool but the gator is my to go too!
If you can get the watch with a metal bracelet and a NATO then yes but if it's either/or then I'd just get a bracelet.

Yes, we stock them and can order (Tudor AD). They run about $175.

Not a NATO or fabric strap guy. Rubber, leather or bracelet all with deployment clasp.
These watches are insanely thick 🤪
