Thank you for the video. Bless.
The result turned out perfect !
Nice work. Picking through pallets as mine finally came apart after being left outside, submerged in a heavy rain storm.
I enjoy watching your projects!
great job of recycling . Lovely mallet..
That's a gorgeous pallet you have there.
nice project and very satisfying recyling. Great to be able to make your own tools for the next project. Best wishes
Congratulations, I love the project with pallets Show !! 👍😉✌
Very nice work. Cheers from Colorado.
Good job man keep up the good work
Awesome!
Thanks for sharing your knowledges :))))
On my to do list.

WalkInMyShoes
awesome..thanks
That is a really nice mallet Keith. I’ve gone through many shop brought mallets and they’ve not lasted very long at all so with your permission, I would love to copy yours. Great video mate 👍🏼👍🏼
looks lot better than shop purchased ...
Not going to lie, this is freakin awesome
I enjoy watching your videos, don't know why cause people like you make me sick! You make it look so easy, if I tried anything like what you do, it would turn out like Homer Simpsons Spice rack....
Keep up the good work :)
Thank you! :-)
Being your arm works at a radius you might think about cutting the head between 2 to 5 deg. Nice build.
I feel like such a failure now using my pound shop mallet..... to the workshop to reclaim my pride by making my own mallet : )
Nice mallet. Quite big. Mini sledge hammer. I like it.
Found your channel through Tom Howbridge . Subscribed!
Like the hammer of Thor
what is the length of the handle
Hey man! Love the project! I've sent you a message on FB about sourcing hardwood pallets in UK! Oh, by the way, you really need some push-sticks :D I know you feel confident with what you're doing, but it's better to keep all fingers where they should be :D
Thanks! I do have push sticks but don't tend to use them unless my hands are closer to the blade. The video is misleading, I'm not as close to it as it appears! :-) but it's definitely a good idea to get in to the habit of using them all the time!
There is an old saying when it comes to safety in the workshop.
If you wouldn’t put your pecker there, then don’t put your hands there. Lol 😂
Hope you see this as its an older video, How do you tell what pallets are hardwood ones ? have a collection of them myself but no idea if i have any hardwood one's , also hows the mallet holding up after over a year ?
GG Woodwork .just comes with knowledge of different timbers all part of being a carpenter . I learned it in 1st year in my city and guilds in carpentry and joinery
Google is your friend. Hardwood/softwood nomenclature has no bearing on the actual hardness of the wood. Balsa for example is a hardwood. Hardwoods/softwoods are characterised by grain structure and figure among other things.
1:19 got a bit of kick back then!
Right
4:20 some dumb shit to he never turns saw off
Great vids, are you from Norwich, im sure thats a norwich accent?
Yep!
"I don't own a mallet". Just expensive wood working power tools, lol.
Well, it's generally more difficult to make your own power tools. Crafting a wooden mallet, among other things, are quite easy and fun. Besides, it's generally nicer to look at than the rubber mallets you can buy.
@@ZeroTheHeroGOAT I was quoting.
@@heru-deshet359 I saw the quotation marks. My reply was to your comment outside the quotation marks.
@@ZeroTheHeroGOAT Relax Zero.
@@heru-deshet359 I am very relaxed, thank you very much. Were you offended by my initial comment? Maybe you should calm down...
Lovely construction Keith, so simple from scrap wood but looks lovely. This must have been one of your much earlier videos where its just me your arms you see and you voicing over - glad you’ve stepped in front of the camera now 👍

Great informative video! Is it heavy enough? I made one with weights for a friend, and now need one for me. Just wondering...
+keale s it's ok. Does the job although I haven't used it much as I bought a thor mallet not long after
nice but 2 big !
is there anyway you could get me the dimensions of this piece, I think it look great an just want to make sure I get everything right
Thank you for no music. Much more enjoyable to watch your videos without it.
