Bro literally said “I knew I should have made a left turn on Albuquerque” with that move!🤣
One complaint i have, not even towards this specific film but just super speed characters in general,
Is all the scenes of them is always just speeding into the situation at the last second 😂.. like does every sequence always have to have them arriving just in time? You got characters that can move light speed, yet their showing up to stop a bullet right before it hits a target, or in this instance, a giant foot stomping a dog..
I wish theyd be more creative and logistical about these things.. when you have someone as fast as superman, hes going to have situational awareness and speed to get to the areas of conflict, far before " the last second".
Its why i loved the display of superspeed in the smallville superman series. They had good balanced moments of him just displaying what that speed would be like, and not every save the day moment was arriving on spot for the last second save.
Both in just these trailers for this new movie, both the dog save and the child save is superman slowishly appearing to save them at the last second.
And what i mean is say a bullet scene. They always make the captovating scene of someone wizzing in to stop the bullet, literally right before it hits the targets body.
Itd be nice to display a speedster hear the bullet round fire while the bullet hasnt even left the barrell and they run up, crush the gun and bullet, and dismantle the character etc.
Just those little details with speedsters would make the power itself seem much more efficient.
This whole scene is too dumb 😂 and people are in a state of shock that Gunn made such trash and calling it amazing. Both the scenes, the monsters, stupid dogs and his silly costume. I'm not hating, but it just looks too bad and badly written already.

If the concrete had a standard strength of 25 MPa, and considering the average contact area of two human feet (about 300 cm² or 0.03 m²), then the maximum weight the concrete could theoretically support would be around 7.5 tonnes.
That means the creature’s weight could be at most 7.5 metric tons before breaking the concrete - which seems a bit odd. You’d expect the concrete to shatter instantly under its first step if it were truly a massive monster.
This suggests either the concrete was unnaturally strong… or the monster wasn’t as heavy as it looked.
It suggests comic book physics.
FSking physics nerds. Next thing you know, they will say superman can't just safely catch a spinning and falling airplane by its wingtip. . . Oh, that's right, we don't talk about Superman Returns, the runt of the Superman movie litter. Clearly they DON'T do the math, in ANY of the Superman movies, because none of this heroic crushing or catching falling stuff nonsense makes any sense. Now if you replace the shape of Superman in this scene with a 20 by 40 foot 'shipping container' shaped SuperLego , the concrete support, and the monster injury scene would make a lot more sense ;)
Its much worse in the next scene, after this creature knocks over several buildings like dominos, and Superman catches several falling buildings in a near vertical position, with only his bare hands, which would clearly just result in the rest of the buildings just falling through him, even if from nothing but the momentum of the fall. because nothing in the side of a building has enough strength to hold up the entire building, much less three of them !
This is metropolis we're taking about here. This is every other day, the infrastructure better be on point lol
