Hi, This rifle is neither a clone nor a re-built one (we are in Europe) : it's in its factory configuration...and in a like new condition. AMD-65 were deliver with both wooden & synthetic furnitures. I saw many of both in surplus stock.
@laipublications interesting. I had always seen only the synthetic grips (as on the later model AKM-63), not until Afghanistan imported this weapon did I see it with wooden pisto grips.
@@christopherhazell420 Looking at the serial of 3 models I had access: BR2XXXX : synthetic (yes, five digits) DC 8XXX : wood DU 5XXX : wood All are very good condition So I would think at first that early production were synthetic, later in wood. In the other hand, the website www.hungariae.com say the wooden are early production...but still, I believe synthetic are early production
@@laipublicationsI have heard the plastic grips were very prone to breaking and thus replaced with wood... Would make sense if they ditched the plastic grips altogether later on, but im no expert!
I asked myself that question before too, greta to see it being answered.
That's one of my favortite AK Variants too
Impressionnant .😮
Comme toutes tes vidéos 👍
Merci!
Looks like when you shoot this thing with no muzzle brake could light up a country on a moonless night lol. But great video for animation reference!
🤣 Thank you! I deed, my shooting video are made in order to study weapon behaviour. I wish I had a Phantom Camera...😭
This has the wood grips of AK-63E/AK-63D not original factory synthetic.

@@laipublications In 85-56 there was a gray plastic handle! I haven't even seen one with a wooden handle.
