@@sadeakiemorgan1881 They are pretty much the same. Only slight difference is, for the argumentative, you can (but you don't have to) write a more balanced argument that acknowledges both sides, while for persuasive, you need to defend one side.
The world has been Fastly Advancing in Technology with the introduction of Transportation such as cars, planes and ships allowing for fast movement. Cars are the transports mainly used by the average Individual with it being accessible to Individuals from they have reached the age of 18. Many individuals believe that the age for a driver’s license should be raised to 20 years old to reduce car accidents, however this is not only unreasonable but also foolish as it opens a wider area of issues. Statistics have shown that the age group does not affect the likelihood of an accident. So, the first reason for my claim is a matter of simple common sense the average 18-year-old cannot afford a car and a large majority of them don’t own one lowering the possibility for cars accidents being mainly caused by those in the age group of 18 lowering the ratio of traffic incidents caused by 18-year insolence. The second reason for why I believe this to be a narrow-minded thought is that it limits 18-19-year-old productivity as this group of individuals not being able to get where they need to be limited to public transportation causing them to arrive late to events and even jobs. Considering this information, it would be natural for those of 18-years-old and older to be able to drive from home to work and vice versa. Finally, while many 18-year-old teens are reckless and love to push boundary’s, the increase in the age needed for a driving license would not only affect the teen but the public transport system as most teens 18 to 19 will be forced to use public transport causing major strain on the transport industry causing individuals to frequently be late to work and the difficulty to get to get public transport. As explained, Increasing the age for acquiring a driver’s license to 20-years-old would affect bought the teens, the general public and the transport system not benefitting the population as it would be affecting them. How is this?
This is great, but perhaps as an essay draft. I would now go in and add some persuasive devices and polish the vocabulary a little. But your points and organization are looking fine.
There's not a huge difference between the two. Just follow the prompt and you will be fine. If they tell you agree or disagree, it is more persuasive. If they tell you to just give your views, you make take a more argumentative approach.
Thank you sir, I am doing the Eng a paper 2 tomorrow and you just made me more prepared
