Watch and practice guides and tips and tricks given by the videos of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe youtubers like Bayesic.
I would recommend you to start focusing on the driving mechanics, especially soft-drifting. Go on the Dragon Palace course in battle mode and go to the open areas or shallow turns and start experimenting with the angles of your sticks to see the (at least close or around the) most optimal soft-drifting angles. You’ll know when you’re soft-drifting and not when the kart’s drifts are faster or slower, there’s a big difference.

Air speed and I guess it easy to do non-shroom shortcuts cuz it bounce.
and also easier coin collection, especially lap 1 glider
Strat was pretty easy but Yoshira made it 10 times harder

I think it increases hotbox for the small cluster of coins midair too, could be wrong though @@DeeznutsintheAir

実はこれルイージローラーの劣化カスタムだお
ホンマだったわ
ヨッシー猫クッションと比べて空中スピードはいっしょで､地上スピード＋0.25､反重力スピード＋0.5で加速もミニターボも-0.25しかなってなくて地上も反重力地帯もかなりあるからいつかルイージトルネが採用されそう
