Since the astroturf was laid a few years ago the pitch is open for community use which helps with income for the club. The first team train in edinburgh as most of the players are from edinburgh,glasgow etc. The area to the left of the stadium where the cabins are is extra changing rooms for community use, it once was training pitches for the first team when the pitch used to be grass. The plaque for davie marshall is for the ex groundsman and board member who sadly passed away a few years back… he won several groundsman of the year awards when the pitch was grass - it was a good surface to be fair!
