It takes a great deal of time to respond to each and every one of these messages/comments. Michelle has her own full time job and she does what she can to help in the evening in catching up with comments, emails and private messages on Instagram and FaceBook. Michelle and I have been struggling for quite some time trying to keep up with responding to every single comment. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Fort Desoto. I took a chance and arrived early one morning and got a 2 day site as a walk in due to a cancellation. Nice to see it again.

Hi 👋🏻 Brian and Michelle! That was an interesting look-see of DeSoto. I have been quite curious about that park since the Laundrie family was spotted camping there. Those camping sites are so private with all the shrubbery. Thank you for giving me a glimpse ! 💜.

We haven’t gotten to Sherman’s together yet but we have both been to Dixie Crossroads where I had the fried shrimp. I was there in August…….don’t ask 😉……visiting good friends that live In Titusville……no other possible reason to go there in August especially from Palm Desert!

Hi, Brian! Grew up in Gainesville and St. Augustine, but never went to Fort Desoto! Thanks for the tour! Ya’ll have fun in Florida this Winter. I’m winterized here in the mountains, and no RV plans for now. Building an outdoor oven and rocket stove with my rocks!

As a native of Tampa, this brought back sweet memories of sunny days spent at the beach (though I now prefer the gorgeous Panhandle beaches with their sugar sand and emerald waters!)

Glad you enjoyed your stay in the Venice, Nokomis, Sarasota area. We love it here. Lots to see and do. We were married on Blindpass beach on Manasota Key, 11 years ago. Still our favorite beach.

Oh my, this video certainly had beautiful views. Florida seems to be well stocked on mosquitoes. I’ve heard other RUclipsr’s comment on being covered with mosquitos bites. Watching the Porpoise play in the blue water with palm trees, sand, and blue sky as a backdrop. I didn’t even miss the pie and ice cream! LOL.
I’ve lived in Florida for 50 years. It seems as if the mosquitoes like the blood from the northerners ! Lol 😆🤔

We came across a drum circle in Asheville NC a few years ago, I LOVED it and would have stayed for hours ! We've been in Florida for the past month. Spent a week in Titusville at Manatee Hammock County Park. Currently in Arcadia at Riverside RV Resort. Heading home to Prescott AZ this coming Thursday. Florida weather has been the best!! Gonna miss it lots. Safe travels you 2 🙂

Areas of winter park fl and orlando have large numbers of peacocks. In fact, winter park (suggest you do a day trip) has a peacock as the city bird. Contact me for info on local spots. I am an area native! No tourist here!
I love watching your videos. I see your in Fort Desoto. Unfortunately we only went there once. Bad experience. Between the rats & the raccoons we had a horrible time. Hope yours turned out better than ours! Way better places in Florida!

I just booked a few sites at Fort De Soto for the Large RV Show in January.. We stayed there a few years back. Loved it. Did you make your way along the entire beach? If I remember correctly, there are 2 areas of the beach. We enjoyed a different area (not North Beach). It was beautiful. Thanks again. Have a wonderful time in the warmer weather!
There’s a lot of beach area there but we didn’t go down to the other end.
Hi guys! As a follow up to one of your other videos and my comment, if you remember that really narrow bridge between Maryland and Virginia (Rt 301) you went over a few months ago, we were coming back from a 17 day vacation to Florida right after Thanksgiving and got stuck on the Virginia side for about 2 hours trying to make it home to Maryland. They had a head on collision near the top where the front corners of each car clip each other. Unfortunately that happens more than it should but then you went over that bridge and saw what it was like. Can't wait for the new bridge to be completed! While in Florida we went to Amelia Island which was pretty nice. If you get over that way check out the state park and the Fort on that location. It was pretty cool...
We’re having a hard time remembering that bridge, but yes, sounds like they really need to get the new bridge built asap!

Florida is a very large state with so much to do and see ! There is much more to Florida than the coastline and all the typical tourist traps . Hopefully you will visit again.😁

Also just visited Millinocket Maine by Mt. katahdin and Baxter State Park, AWESOME area ! If you haven’t, Consider Maine, the landscape is breathtaking !

We would love to spend the winter months in Florida
We are looking for cheaper parks as we are Canadian
Have you considered looking at some State Parks. Search FloridaStateParks.org
As far as full hookup campgrounds/resorts we mainly use our membership through Thousand Trails combined with the Trails Collection. That’s the cheapest way we have found if you do a lot of camping or are full time.

Hi Christina! Unfortunately we are not. We were there about 3-4 weeks ago. Our videos are typically behind a bit from where we are with an occasional release of current location. Maybe if you’re in Florida for a while, we’ll get a chance to meet up, we would really like that. 😊🤓
