Actually, you're right. This is in fact the only trance song until Most Wanted 2012. That also had one trance song. But from NFS II till Porsche, NFS was full of techno and electronic songs.
Actually Hot Pursuit 2 had Cylkoid by Rom Di Prisco. Sounds very techno to me. But it was the only one he did for that game. And the only Techno sounding one in the game too.
My first contact with Trance was with that game and that song, i recommend to hear the soundrack of NFS II, NFS 3, NFS High Stakes and NFS Porsche Unleashed which have more songs like that.

I'm not sure if I'm a nfsu2 veteran. I had the game 4 years after it came out when i was 6, I couldn't play career because I didn't have a memory card, i sucked at the races, and the cars i pimped looked horrible (but cool to me). I stopped playing the game when i put the ps2 disk in my backpack with a rock. Memories😂😂😂

This is a very under-rated song, I mean look at the view count, this song should have MUCH more than this. One of my favourite songs in Underground 2, I still play this game and made some videos of it quite recently aswell if you want a look, I'm dreaming and hoping for a Underground 3 someday soon when EA stop wasting time with those crappy 'shift' games.
