Ben Watkins, you are a legend. I've been listening to Juno Reactor since Control with Traci Lords and Samurai off of Viruousity. I've bought a lot of your albums and listen to your trax almost daily. On the way home today I was listening to Mona Lisa Overdrive (one of the best tracks of all time).
Would you like to see Traci on these podcasts?
@@JunoReactorOfficial HELL YES!!!!!!!
Thank you ben . Composer of my life's soundtrack. Everything you do touches many beings inner soul. Now my kids stomp the dust to your trance and create to your soundscapes. Thank you sir 🙏 north coast NSW AUS . 🇦🇺 SOS .
Matrix was a good milestone that lead me to find out about juno reactor. Glad things turned out this way, otherwise I wouldn't have known it existed in that small town. Thank you for helping me dream
It was incredible to see at 22:20 how Mona Lisa overdrive was recorded with all this orchestra! Previously I thought all these symphonic sounds are synthesised with computer) Thanks for this podcast Ben and Zig!
In those days it would have been really hard, don for him demo's had a wall full of S1000's or s3200, Akai samplers, always buggering up. now articulations are better, but nothing to my ears is better than raw strings and hair :)
Very insightful, I've been a fan since way back and when I was asked my favorite band before the Matrix came out I would have to say you've never heard of them, at least now I can give some point of reference to something they have heard. If they liked it then I can tell them about that being just the tip of the iceberg. Thank you for your art and sharing it with us!
It was an Honor to be apart of this Podcast congrats to you all !!! Have a fantastic upcoming weekend !!!

@@JunoReactorOfficial I'll be tuning in next week 👽
"Too much Juno"?? Hah! Never!! )
The memory of you all hearing together "Navras" for the first time - exactly how I imagined it. That could not have been any other way. A heartwarming memory. )
what a pleasant surprise Ben! Thank's for this. Hope you are doing good and hoping to see you soon in India.
Thank you Ankur - I hope so, India is wonderful to play
Nice bit of insight after all these years. I’m hoping the next Matrix movies include you and we can get some real engaging music this time.
4th part of matrix is total crap. So i was kind of happy that juno didnt involve in it
I doubt it, but hey :) leave it to the universe, would love to do more films. I think Dark Red turned out sweet and deadly
@@JunoReactorOfficial I cannot wait to see Dark Red. Your family is very talented.
So cool.. thanks for this.. the stuff of legends.. can’t wait for more ❤️
Trying to put Steve Stevens on the next one
extremely grateful.
For a person as curious as I am, knowing the history behind the songs and the artists who have composed them totally satisfies me.
thank you so much
Absolutely fantastic! always like to see the inner workings and processes of everything, and this podcast was a great insight on the one and only Navras.
I really hope these podcasts continue. And hopefully Ben will get to explain what the hell is going on in the drums for 'God is God'; there is a break somewhere in the 5min mark, and when the drums come back is like an entire legion enters the stage with at least two percussions each, insane!
As a producer I just cannot wrap my head around everything, great track.
Been a fan for long time, been a long time since ive heard from, cheers
wow, love all of it! WHen I see Matrix Reloaded I fell in love with the music and Juno Reactor, then I see on youtube god is god video and others and became ecplipsed by the music, Also a lvoe performance of Master of the universe! killer!!! I'd never heard music that made my neck have shivers and delighted my mind's eye until I heard juno reactor and looked as much into who made that matrix music so i could find more. I've never been disappointed keep up the awesome work!
Omg, getting all this insight has been great. Thanks Ben!
glad you enjoyed it, I was really nervous about doing these, so hopefully will chill more as they go on
Very good video.. thanks for uploading.. Navras just rocked my world.

Juno Reactor
lovely and informative chat
*Greets from Oxford JR* ❤🔥
Hy Ben, matrix soundtrack has a master piece but you have some much good stuff before it Congo, Transmissions .
Keep the good work.
Thanks for what you do
As someone who loves immersive instrumental music in a variety of moods, I can tell that genre sets the mood. It's not too surprising that it must have been a challenge to choose the best genre for such ground-breaking movies at that time. It's very nice to hear about the process. Also, nice bit with the orchestra... back to Labyrinth, one of my favs for obvious reasons.
Labyrinth is one of my Favs also when I do listen
Gonna watch from Goa!
you are my hero
Great podcast! :)
Thanks Harri
Es hermosa la forma en cómo haces música, de verdad ha cambiado mi vida y mi forma de sentir la música gracias por todo 🖤

Hey Corey :) thank you for your story, I love these tales of how people and you connected to, found Juno Reactor in this sea of music. So much music has also kept me sane, mind you that might be in doubt :P I hope I can keep you interested
Still wish The Flowerpot Men had made an album…
Funny you say that... looks like we will release an album 40 years after the events, the one that should have been. some time in May
Great episode, how did you manage to get in contact with Zig? We have been trying to get in contact with them about their work on Mission Impossible?
Nice podcast! I hope you bring some psy artist like simon posford, astrix .. cheers :)
Matrix soundtrack composer
There is a difference between soundtrack and scoring direct to picture...
