Hiya Rach, this was a last minute after work thing, by far not the best hike I’ve ever had, I think I was more disappointed for bailing on the next two summits Thanks for watching mate 🥾⛰⛺️❤️
hey Hazey thanks for coming, yeah things didn't quite go as planned but you've got to trust your instincts in the mountains I suppose, thanks for the support mate and hopefully speak soon xx
Hey guys, Thankyou for watching and taking the time to comment, it’s really appreciated, it wasn’t ti bad of s climb to be honest and still quite enjoyable despite the weather, thanks again Alan Team54 ⛺️⛰🥾
Still a good day out for a hike. That’s part of it. It could be worse. Those far-away shots are so awesome! In an open space like that, you don't really have much choice. Have a great weekend!
hiya mate, yeah your right its part of the fun of hiking mountains I suppose, I think I was more annoyed at myself, im sat here now and im still not sure I made the right decision, but I always say if you're asking the question if you should carry on the answer is normally no, yeah I love the drone, but was only able to get it out a couple of times speak soon matey
thanks cara, for me the drones make any video better I love the view that they give, I wasn't quite happy with the hike but at least I was still out, hope you have an awesome weekend too mate, speak soon xx
Evening Alan...apologies for my tardiness and extreme lateness to the party. Been a busy old week workwise. If carlseberg did after work hikes!!!!!!. Ya partial to a treat you lad. 🤣. You're a machine. Just aswell the clag cleared to show that summit 👏. Wayside wade is indeed a cracking channel. Nice stateside shout out. And then the cloud cleared........= views.. stunning. As always a most excellent adventure. 👌 really enjoyed this. See ya on the next one matey. Take care. X
hi emz, don't worry about it, im so far behind on videos its unbelievable, just catching up on comments and then hopefully have a late one catching up on vids wade is a great guy and has a great channel, as for the weather I suppose that's the fun of what we do lol xx
Cheers Lloydi mate, and great to see you with a premiere today, sorry I couldn't catch it all but I was sat on summit having a tactical breather when the notification came up, ill get it over the next couple of days for sure mate, hope you've had a great weekend mate - cheers Alan team54
Thanks Dorene, I left a little disappointed on this one but I think its more down to the fact I bailed on the last two summits, although it was the right thing to do thanks agin for watching mate and hopefully we will speak again soon, Alan team 54 xx
Hi LB, most my locations are decided by where im working tbh, especially in summer with the lighter nights, if I can go in the evening it frees me upon at the weekend to do stuff with the mrs and kids xx
Hiya, I love your channel name by the way, I hit a few views I suppose, could only imagine what it would look like with a complete cloud free summit. Thanks for watching - Alan team54 ⛺️🥾⛰
Hey at least you made the one mate - no harm in that - and thems the breaks - if you’re not feeling it then just turn around 👍👍👍 You still had some atmospheric views and the wind was great - plus you got the drone up so that was a bonus Have a great weekend Alan 👍👍👍
Hey Dave yeah your right, glass half full and all that lol. looking back now and it was still quality afternoon out , cheers mate and hope you've had a great weekend
Wow fantastic video Alan, always great droning. Just look at those clouds. It’s still a great video, you’ve still got a few views. It’s very moody. Img that weather came in real quick. 😂🤣 Can’t wait for the next one. Stay awesome x💕
Hey Kim, ahhh thankyou, youre both awesome too, I suppose that's the fun and games of what we do, the weather is always so unpredictable, but there will be another chance to get them knocked off. cheers Kim x
Hi Shie, Yep I always seem to be hiking alone nowadays! But saying that I’ve got a couple of videos ready to be edited where I’m out with friends, the weather wasn’t the best but it always seems to be like that when I’m in Scotland, thanks for watching Shie ⛺️⛰🥾❤️
Geez mate this is not a weather you wanna get stuck in! Good that I know you’re right, that’s the great thing with RUclips, it’s a bit of spoilers but good to know that all went well in the end because someone uploaded the footage!
to be honest 🐢 the weather wasn't to bad, but it was a long slog to the summit with not to much happening, but I knew once I got there the views should be awesome, and then just as I was getting there the clag came in, I mean I loved being out there but from a recording point of view it wasn't great, speak to you soon mate
Spectacular views Alan, you might have been a bit disappointed, but I enjoyed watching, great drone shots, nice music, all in all a lovely mix!! Big fan of Wayside Wade as well my friend!! :}Robbie
hi robbie, thanks mate, I could think of worse places to be, so I just need to stop moaning. lol, not sure what was up with me this day, the weather doesn't normally bother me tbh thanks for watching pal
☾💟👍🏻🔔The way you do the work gracefully - I am very proud of you. Thanks for going through the trouble and it's worth it. You have the absolute power to rise above any situation or struggle and transform yourself into the strongest and most beautiful version of yourself ever. Congratulations and best of luck for your promising future. Great job, you are amazing, you are important, you are special, you are unique, and you are valuable! Never give up, go ahead, fight for your dreams, everything will get better for you, I wish you good luck. You have my full supportt 🎁
I managed to miss this movie and did not see it before today; but what a hike you had and I sympathise with the slightly downbeat feeling when reaching the "peak". Unfortunately weather is not always on our side and mistakes happen in such conditions while we try to gain higher ground; so such days is a part of hiking in the north unfortunately! If the weather had been brilliant on the other hand....well we just have to try again and fail better next time:) All the best, A
Great video of some of the trials and tribulations of a hiker. You have to love the clag and take the rough with the smooth. Of course you always want smooth and the view down to the Loch looked pretty smooth to me so not all crap views wise 👍
hey Paul mate, its definitely part of the fun I suppose, yeah them views probably lasted for about ten mins, tbh it doest normally bother me I think I was more disappointed in not carrying one but it was getting late and the conditions wasn't great will I ever get some decent weather in Scotland lol speak soon mate
Hi Al, glad the clag cleared on the summit of Geal Charn. It's a great view over to the West and the Ben Alder hills. Some of those tracks look improved from when I was last there. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Alistair 👍
Is there anywhere you haven’t been lol I think I was disappointed with bailing on the last two summits, it’s not something I tend to do, but when you get that feeling it time to head down … then it probably this … cheers Alistair , hope you’re having a great week 🥾🗻
@@54DegreesNorth 😂😂😂.... not many hills I haven't been up in England!🤣 And I've been up a lot although not all in Scotland!.... Wales only really the 3000'ers! It's been a life's work/project... derailed since I retired by C19 then a bleed on the brain earlier this year!☹️😲 Don't blame you for leaving the other 2 hills, they'll be there another day and their close to the road which is a bonus!👍 Good week so far, been up Great Crag today. Video maybe next week!? Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend... it's nearly here. ATB Alistair 👍
@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad well I'm happy your getting out again mate, Im 55 in on the wainwrights and about 6 on the munros not done any in Wales yet ... I actually hate the bank holidays as the hills get stupidly busy ( bloody tourists, although im one of them coming from Preston lol ) imm wild camping Saturday, not sure which summit yet though can't wait to see your next vid mate
thanks Nicole, I don't often abort mission if I always say if your asking whether you should the answer is probably yes. still not 100% sure I made the right decision though, but the mountains aren't going anywhere are they, thanks Alan xx
Yeah this is what I said to myself, and I always say if you're asking yourself the question if you should carry on then normally the answer is no!! I just think I was more annoyed thinking I was gunna tick off 2/3 munro with great views and I got 1 big featureless lump lol anyway the next one 100% made up for it speak soon mate
Shame the cloud appeared, sadly I’ve been there before where the views just didn’t happen and it’s amazing how quick the cloud can come over. But it looks like a great hike anyway and I certainly wasn’t disappointed, looked like a lovely quiet route to hike and I enjoyed it so thanks for sharing 😊
Hey Yasmin, it was still a great evening out, not quite sure why I got so miserable lol I normally like being out in the bad weather, I think it’s because I made the decision not to carry on which isn’t like me, but I’ve always said if you’re asking whether you should carry on the answer is probably no !! Thanks for watch - Alan Team54 ⛺️⛰🥾❤️
Hi Alan. I was happy to be at your premiere. I loved your hiking adventure..must have been quite the climb to the top! How long did it take you to hike there? Wonderful views, very mystical. 👍😊🇨🇦
Hey Christine it was great to see you at the premiere, thankyou so much for dropping in, tbh the initial climb to the summit was a couple of hours but if I wasn't messing around with the drone I think I could of done it in an hour. thanks for watching and hopefully speak soon, thanks again. Alan xx
No worries thanks Debs, im like a million years behind on everybody's videos, ill sit and watch 10 and another 20 will drop, hope you've had an amazing weekend - cheers Alan team54
Hey there. Felt I had to returen the favour and check out your content. Not disapointed! You just got a new subscriber. A couple of last words… Good man for showing even the less perfect adventures. You just have me an idea about bloopers. God I’ve got some 😂🤣
Hey mate Thankyou and yes a blooper video is a must, I’ve been thinking about it but I just need more content, I’ve plenty of me talking over. I just need to loose the tent in the wind now …😂 Great to meet you Alan ⛺️🥾🗻⛺️
Hey guys 👋 thanks for watching, I’ve got a few friends now in Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️ This wasn’t my best hike for sure but seen as I was supposed to be at work still it could of been worse I’ve got a premiere tonight 15:30 Canada time, there’s normally loads of great channels in the chat, it would ge great of you could make it Great to meet you and I’ll be I set to check your channel out shortly - Alan Team54 ⛺️🥾⛰❤️
One of my most memorable hikes had to be the worst conditions in snow and gail up in dovestones, maybe this will one age well... it will stick in your memory anyway
Hiya mate, I actually live hiking in the bad weather … I think I was more disappointed at bailing on the last two summits Thanks for watching and leaving a comment - Alan team54
It all started off so well up the Big Green Hill and you were right about hitting the wind when you went over the top. Always a shame when you put that work in and all you get is clag, happened to me taking my grandson to Blencathra for his first time, forecast full sun and when we got there could not see your hand in front of you! At lease you got some decent views on the way downs so better luck for next time, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, it’s funny you mention that trip with your grandson as it pop up for me to watch yesterday lol !! I think it was more annoying the last 3 munros I’ve been up the clag and wind have been on top form … Ben Nevis video up next … hopefully I got better luck 🤞 ( I’m pretty sure you saw on insta anyway but we will play the game still lol ) speak soo mate and hope you’re having a great weekend 🥾⛰⛺️
Hey Alan why was this your worst ever hike ? I loved it seeing all of the views and hearing the banter and the Munroes do love Team 54 , they just told me that there has to be bad weather sometimes 😃 I loved the atmosphere here, thanks for sharing and a good shootout to our lovely friend Wadey . Have a great weekend and thanks :) ~ Anna
hey Anna, I think its probably the first time ive decided not to carry on regardless, sat here now im still not sure I made the right decision, but mainly the slog up to the summit was featureless and then to have no views at the summit, all in all it was just a disappointing day, but there's always the next one to perk me back up speak soon Anna and thanks for watching xx
Hey Tam, thanks mate, I think that's 5 Munros ive done now and I haven't had decent weather once yet. I only come uo every now and again for work so I fit them in when I can. I did Ben Nevis via the CMD a couple of weeks ago, thats my next vid hopefully I got better weather, cheers pal Alan Team54
Thankyou guys and glad you enjoyed, even though i didn’t get the weather I wanted, it was still a great day out , thanks for watching Alan Team54 ⛺️⛰🥾❤️
is there anywhere you haven't been Steve lol, hopefully you found it a little better than I did, but it was still good be out in all honesty, rough with the smooth and all that, cheers mate and speak soon
Alas, the Weather Gods were not with ya! But even though you were disappointed, we still super enjoyed watching. Still felt bad for ya. Think it was the right move, anyway. Imagine if you had fully gone for it and something bad had happened -- we'd rather have disappointed Alan but still in one piece, you know? Long story short -- ya done good and made a solid video we all dig and if that's one your worst hike, imagine what it'll be on your best one 🎉
Hey guys, yeah you’re right, I think it was because I’m not used to aborting mission but I’ll definitely be back there to get the two I left, I’ve got sone epic hiked up coming up guys, just need to pull my finger out and get them edited, Hope you’re both having a great week ⛺️🥾⛰❤️
Boring Hill? 😂 Just think of all the worse places you could have been! 👍😁 To be honest, the views did improve once you were coming down the far side! Another very entertaining video👍 All the best!
Hey Des, yeah I wasn't to impressed at that point, But you're right, there were much worse places, and to be honest I just love being out, I think raised my hopes a little thinking it was going to be full of great views cheers for watching mate Alan team54
How does it becomes a worst hike @54 Degrees North?,it was fantastic place in a gloomy and windy weather 🤭😅,,nice drone footage 👍👍,have a great weekend

Is a bad hike better than a good day at work? You still managed to capture some beautiful views. Interesting segment, the shout out to other channels. Recently saw that on ruclips.net/user/DaveandKathyHyde channel. Neat stuff.
Yeah you’re right Definitely better than being at work, I do a summit shoutout on all my hikes, not sure if it actually helps the other channels but I do it anyway 😂

Thankyou for your input but no matter what music I use somebody doesn’t like it, music is a personal choice so it’s impossible to please everybody, Also the selection isn’t always as vast as what you think but I’m slowly using less and less music and narrating more Hope you have a great weekend - cheers Alan team54 🥾⛰⛺️❤️
Hi, 54 Degrees North. Me..first for the first time. Tickled 👍. K7S and I appreciate it that you dropped by the premiere late at night yesterday and left a comment as well. That means a lot to K7S and me. Of course, we will be here. Look forward to it!!! 🙋♀🙋♀🛶🛶

That was a very difficult and challenging path, my friend. I love climbing and amazing scenery. Follow the next episode 🔔
Hey guys, Thankyou for watching and taking the time to comment, it’s really appreciated, it wasn’t ti bad of s climb to be honest and still quite enjoyable despite the weather, thanks again Alan Team54 ⛺️⛰🥾
Wow, I love this kind of video.💙💙💗💗💗💗
Thank you so much for uploading the video. My friend!!!!!!!
Hey mate, Thankyou so much for watching, glad you enjoyed it, Scotland is stunning even in the bad weather, Alan Team54 ⛺️⛰❤️
Still a good day out for a hike. That’s part of it. It could be worse. Those far-away shots are so awesome! In an open space like that, you don't really have much choice. Have a great weekend!
hiya mate, yeah your right its part of the fun of hiking mountains I suppose, I think I was more annoyed at myself, im sat here now and im still not sure I made the right decision, but I always say if you're asking the question if you should carry on the answer is normally no, yeah I love the drone, but was only able to get it out a couple of times
speak soon matey
Wow, the clouds definitely got thick up there! And it sounds windy up there too. Looks like a great hike.
it wasn't to bad to be honest Donna, I could definitely think of worse places to be, thankyou for watching it really is appreciated - Alan team54
Loved the drone footage, great hike even in the cloud. Great video, have a great weekend ❤️
thanks cara, for me the drones make any video better I love the view that they give, I wasn't quite happy with the hike but at least I was still out, hope you have an awesome weekend too mate, speak soon xx
Absolutely beautiful hike love it 😍 keep it up 👍
Thank you! Will do! hope you have a great week - Alan Team54
While it's adrenaline-pumping, it was refreshing to climb with those clouds! A new sub from Dave and Kathy Hyde and WaysideWade!😊
Thankyou Jean, I’ve already got you, it’s very much appreciated ❤️🥾🗻
Evening Alan...apologies for my tardiness and extreme lateness to the party. Been a busy old week workwise. If carlseberg did after work hikes!!!!!!. Ya partial to a treat you lad. 🤣. You're a machine. Just aswell the clag cleared to show that summit 👏. Wayside wade is indeed a cracking channel. Nice stateside shout out.
And then the cloud cleared........= views.. stunning. As always a most excellent adventure. 👌 really enjoyed this. See ya on the next one matey. Take care. X
hi emz, don't worry about it, im so far behind on videos its unbelievable, just catching up on comments and then hopefully have a late one catching up on vids
wade is a great guy and has a great channel, as for the weather I suppose that's the fun of what we do lol xx
there is nothing worse when you start doing a climb and this happens its almost soul destroying, you made the best of the video though i love it
Cheers Lloydi mate, and great to see you with a premiere today, sorry I couldn't catch it all but I was sat on summit having a tactical breather when the notification came up, ill get it over the next couple of days for sure mate, hope you've had a great weekend mate - cheers Alan team54
Love the music and drone views!
Thanks Dorene, I left a little disappointed on this one but I think its more down to the fact I bailed on the last two summits, although it was the right thing to do
thanks agin for watching mate and hopefully we will speak again soon, Alan team 54 xx
Wow you pick some wild places to hike! That’s a lot of area to cover. Beautiful places to see👍🏼
Hi LB, most my locations are decided by where im working tbh, especially in summer with the lighter nights, if I can go in the evening it frees me upon at the weekend to do stuff with the mrs and kids xx
Amazing and beautiful view .Big like for you hiking. Greeting from Thailand.
Hiya, I love your channel name by the way, I hit a few views I suppose, could only imagine what it would look like with a complete cloud free summit. Thanks for watching - Alan team54 ⛺️🥾⛰
Hey at least you made the one mate - no harm in that - and thems the breaks - if you’re not feeling it then just turn around 👍👍👍
You still had some atmospheric views and the wind was great - plus you got the drone up so that was a bonus
Have a great weekend Alan 👍👍👍
Hey Dave yeah your right, glass half full and all that lol. looking back now and it was still quality afternoon out , cheers mate and hope you've had a great weekend
What an awesome hike. Thank you for sharing your hiking adventure ♥️
Thankyou for taking the time to watch and comment, it was still a great hike, shame about the views in the end though, Alan team54 🥾⛺️⛰
Wonderful content. thank you For Sharing. Have a Nice Day!❤👍
Thank you! You too!
Wow fantastic video Alan, always great droning. Just look at those clouds. It’s still a great video, you’ve still got a few views. It’s very moody.
Img that weather came in real quick. 😂🤣
Can’t wait for the next one.
Stay awesome x💕
Hey Kim, ahhh thankyou, youre both awesome too, I suppose that's the fun and games of what we do, the weather is always so unpredictable, but there will be another chance to get them knocked off.
cheers Kim x
Ohh you hike alone again.. wow look very long journey Alan. But it's a beautiful foggy view.. stay safe always
:}Robbie
hi robbie, thanks mate, I could think of worse places to be, so I just need to stop moaning. lol, not sure what was up with me this day, the weather doesn't normally bother me tbh
thanks for watching pal

Hey Thankyou , I hope you have a great weekend ❤️⛺️⛰🥾
I managed to miss this movie and did not see it before today; but what a hike you had and I sympathise with the slightly downbeat feeling when reaching the "peak". Unfortunately weather is not always on our side and mistakes happen in such conditions while we try to gain higher ground; so such days is a part of hiking in the north unfortunately! If the weather had been brilliant on the other hand....well we just have to try again and fail better next time:) All the best, A
yeah its was just one of the days mate, not sure what was up with me, but I started off in good spirits, thanks for watching Ant
Great video of some of the trials and tribulations of a hiker. You have to love the clag and take the rough with the smooth. Of course you always want smooth and the view down to the Loch looked pretty smooth to me so not all crap views wise 👍
hey Paul mate, its definitely part of the fun I suppose, yeah them views probably lasted for about ten mins, tbh it doest normally bother me I think I was more disappointed in not carrying one but it was getting late and the conditions wasn't great
will I ever get some decent weather in Scotland lol speak soon mate
Hi Al, glad the clag cleared on the summit of Geal Charn. It's a great view over to the West and the Ben Alder hills. Some of those tracks look improved from when I was last there.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Alistair 👍
Is there anywhere you haven’t been lol
I think I was disappointed with bailing on the last two summits, it’s not something I tend to do, but when you get that feeling it time to head down … then it probably this … cheers Alistair , hope you’re having a great week 🥾🗻
@@54DegreesNorth 😂😂😂.... not many hills I haven't been up in England!🤣 And I've been up a lot although not all in Scotland!.... Wales only really the 3000'ers!
It's been a life's work/project... derailed since I retired by C19 then a bleed on the brain earlier this year!☹️😲
Don't blame you for leaving the other 2 hills, they'll be there another day and their close to the road which is a bonus!👍
Good week so far, been up Great Crag today. Video maybe next week!?
Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend... it's nearly here.

Looks like a cold day be hiking. A bit of a barren place. Have a good weekend
the temperature wasn't actually to bad, just everything else was lol, the joys of the mountains I suppose, thanks sue and speak soon xx
I hear ya, it's always a little disappointing to have to call it due to weather but it was a good decision. It still looked so beautiful up there. 👍
thanks Nicole, I don't often abort mission if I always say if your asking whether you should the answer is probably yes. still not 100% sure I made the right decision though, but the mountains aren't going anywhere are they, thanks Alan xx
nice sharing
big thumbs up
Thankyou
This video is so nice and peaceful love your videos keep making good content! Whimpi. Indonesia...

Wow! Nice video mate. You may be a little disappointed, but I enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day. Love it!
Thanks, you too! your nice comment really is appreciated, thankyou for watching and taking the time to leave a comment - Alan team 54
the mountains aren't going anywhere Alan, be there for another day 🤜🤛
Yeah this is what I said to myself, and I always say if you're asking yourself the question if you should carry on then normally the answer is no!! I just think I was more annoyed thinking I was gunna tick off 2/3 munro with great views and I got 1 big featureless lump lol
anyway the next one 100% made up for it
speak soon mate
awesome can wait
Hope to see you there mate, big love Alan team54 🥾⛰❤️⛺️
Alan xx
Catching up at mo,i love this weather in this,id get lost but if sunny id get lost lol ,will check out wayside wade debs xx love the drone shots too

this was a great hike with freezing weather so very risky walk here just besafe then am here again'
thankyou for watching mate, it wasn't actually to cold to be honest, the wind and cloud was the problem, see you soon x
Have a great weekend and thanks :) ~ Anna
hey Anna, I think its probably the first time ive decided not to carry on regardless, sat here now im still not sure I made the right decision, but mainly the slog up to the summit was featureless and then to have no views at the summit, all in all it was just a disappointing day, but there's always the next one to perk me back up
speak soon Anna and thanks for watching xx

Alas, the Weather Gods were not with ya! But even though you were disappointed, we still super enjoyed watching. Still felt bad for ya. Think it was the right move, anyway. Imagine if you had fully gone for it and something bad had happened -- we'd rather have disappointed Alan but still in one piece, you know? Long story short -- ya done good and made a solid video we all dig and if that's one your worst hike, imagine what it'll be on your best one 🎉
