@@RajKumar-bm7we are you asking for measuring or machining? If measuring, yes. for measuring GD&T parameters in CMM have to origin the the respective datum called on the feature control frame
True position X, Y coordinates always comes up with basic dimensions. The basic dimensions usually don't have tolerance and its tolerance related to position tolerance. I have explained in this video about the true position value how we are arriving from design aspect. And benefits of true position.
Hai, your video so much help to me .... I think , formula you mention for position 2x √(Actual x - true x)^2+(actual y+ true y) ...... 2x is missing , is it correct please confirm ...

if you want to learn, you have to learn the technical terms meaning. No problem, start to learn from basic. To understand this symbol, must have some CMM inspection knowledge.

Sir.make some example video using true position formula.
Diagonal length of the square,
a*√2 ,
(a = .40 ),
= .56568 ~ .566
we can give positional tolerance to shaft(external feature as well)
ok
Height gauge use pani position eppadi check panarthunu oru video podunga sir
ok sure.
if we measure the basic dimensions by using height gauge, can use this formula to calculate the true position with the actual measurements
Wonderful explain... thankyou

How you define 0.28 ?
Pls refer video 5:20 , here i mentioned .28 value is the rounded value of .283.
Thus .566 is the across corer value (.283 X 2)
I mean how you define the diagonal tolerance as .28 mm
I understand the x and y tolerance as 0.40 mm
