Agreed. I hate that they changed a lot of the narrative and original premise of the show and its characters. Bill Bell was a supreme storyteller and writer. They messed a lot with Taylors character, that was a beautiful family. Taylor was a strong woman and good role model. I also hated when Stephanies character was messed with when Massimo was the father of Ridge. I hated all of that. None of that was part of Bill Bells original premise. The show has definitely deteriorated. I understand why someone of the calibre of Susan Flannery left. It must have been hard for her to see the decline of a once great show.

She no longer trusts you RIdge. Bill offered Steffy belief and warmth and strength when Ridge wasn't there. There is a reason Steffy falls for Bill Spencer sometimes. He's there during the lowest times of Steffy's life.

Ronn Moss might not be the world's greatest actor but he had screen presence and most importantly he had great chemistry with the other actors. Back in the day, the story of his Ridge being torn between Brooke and Taylor was an important part of the show's success. On top of that he was believable in the role of a fashion designer. The same can't said for his replacement Thorsten Kaye. And if you don't believe me take a look at the current ratings.
A Huge National Conglomerate ....but yet he lives in some small Beach House LMOA Bill Spencer. Sr...Never had a son..such a joke His character only had a daughter, Caroline. What a creep lol ! I always fast forwarded his scenes yuk.
