One issue i personally find important is pfd's for different times of the year. I have an open compact NRS Ninja i use in the summer as its much cooler to wear on hotter days, and a larger longer body wrap around style Gill pfd (desigend for sailing, but good value?!) for the winter as its a lot warmer. I over heat paddling in the summer and stopped wearing my Gill pfd until i got the ninja, so much safer. Great review BTW

It wasn't the most popular PFD, but it has its place. The test video goes through key findings to help you understand what styles of BA are best for the type of paddling you are doing and then got through a summery of each product. Its worth a watch and you will learn a lot. Will - SUPboarder
