+Tobyn Manthorpe To me he comes across like he still needs to get a bit more used to doing interviews. "You've also done a lot of puzzle games. [...] Do you like to do puzzle games as well?" That was kind of awkward... But he definetely created a nice atmosphere during the interview.
The doctor. Wow, this interview is golden. The machine is a splendid interviewer. Always lets the speakers communicate all they want, never overspeaks, and asks solid questions.
This is a GREAT interview. Dr Knizia's love of games and Jason's knowledge (and love) of games come through in spades. Both of them are exactly what board gaming is about! Thank you Jason for the great interview and thank you Dr Knizia for the great games.
Its nice to see a designer such as him still excited and happy about the industry! Jason, that was great! You did a great job! You allowed him to come across great over the camera! I don't know why but I want to buy more of his games now...!
This has been a very entertaining year for me. Since jason's top 100 to the essen tour and now this interviews. Jason is definitevly making quality material and I enjoy it very much!
Can we get more interviews by Jason at other conventions? These work really well, and Jason is very good at doing them. I preferred this one - talking about a broader range of Knizia's design history overall, than the very 504 focused Friedemann Friese interview - While I recognize that designers have games to try and sell, and the Dice Tower leans more towards news than retrospectives since that's usually of more usefulness to consumers, if you could manage to do some deeper dives into older games, even - 20-30 minute chats about the design process for a specific game that came out long enough ago for there to be some historic perspective from both Jason and the designer about the game and it's reception would be fascinating to watch.
Great job, Jason. I love listening to Reiner, and this is an especially great interview.
Well done Jason! A very knowledgeable interview, and you let him talk as much as you could. Thumbs up.

Jason's designer videos, and this one in particular, are by far my favorite part of TDT's Essen coverage. Really nice job!
Excellent, excellent interview! Thanks Jason!

Btw, that pirate game sounds phenomenal. Knizia seems to be a daring designer.
Very well done, Jason. I don't think I could even talk to him. :D A god among men.
Reiner Knizia seems like such a nice guy.
Well done Jason!
Is that a Rubik's Cube bow tie?
They should reprint Indigo ... fortunately, I managed to secure one of the last copies in stores.
At 12:30 Wurfel reviews duo comes to the booth :) Alina is dragging lots of games :))
So Reiner Knizia designed a Megavirus-style game? Who would have guessed...
Nice Interview! I only wonder, why does Dr. Knizia sound like he's French rather than German?
