The drone is a great idea. How about you have an Amazon wish list? I would happily donate to you having a drone, you’ve saved those three beautiful babies and who knows how many more… you’re truly one of my favorite equestrian families❤ your authentic.
@@Camilleshorses it also helps with the expenses with maintaining those Wildies, deworming, delousing and all the other maintenance involved. You can add anything you want to your Amazon wishlist. I’ve seen everything and people typically get it and you definitely deserve it. You are a mustang (I’m from the US ) sanctuary site in my opinion. 🤠 A friend from Utah and the Onaqui mustangs.
Drone footage of the wild horses would be great! In Alberta, the HAWS (Help Alberta Wildies) group has acclimated some herds to the drone and that gives a wonderful overview of the Wildies in their natural habitat. Could be also a nice addition to your photography business, Candice 😊
Wow, this is amazing, I'm from the Netherlands and its hard to believe someone has to ride for days just to find your horses! You don't know how lucky you are !!
I so enjoyed this video! The geography in your region is something unique I’ve never seen before. The best way I can describe it is a green grass desert? I love it. I could almost smell the sage and the rain in the air. Freckles is definitely your horse. What a roller! You could get a great still image of him in the cloud of dust he’s shaking off looking right at you.
It’s always been my dream to live on a ranch and do exactly what you’re doing!!! I just love everything about that life!! I had horses for years and loved grooming, cleaning stalls, every single second of it all!! If you ever need to adopt another hard working lady who cooks, cleans and is a great family masseuse to add to the family please let me know!! ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
Wow it certainly is beautiful scenery Candice, you took the words right out of my mouth when you mentioned a drone, it would definitely help you both more when checking the feral herds and finding any abandoned foals, if l were you I’d really consider getting one, hopefully you will never miss any, and do you know how Shadow is doing nowadays?, and does anyone else take the time to check on these gorgeous feral horses, or is it just you and Jordan?, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Y'all do need a drone--I know you love riding the range b/c it's so gorgeous, but you could really get some awesome shots & hunt down any babies that need help faster. And a new bridle for Freckles. The pinto is gorgeous (Freckles, too, when not covered with dust!). You guys are special for caring so much about the wild horses.
Candice I am so happy to find this channel. Especially that we live close to kamloops, on a horse ranch 🥰😄 maybe hopefully we can meet. So great to find like-minded equine community. In which area do you see feral horses? I will reach out through your website ❤
Absolutely love your videos and what you do for the horses ❤ Can you please give a update on Sage and Shadow. Never see or hear anything about them only Ranger.
This varies for each horse… most times they don’t ever move to a bit (even ones that sell and have new homes) they just ride out so nicely in a halter hackamore. But if we do, once they are light to his aids the move into a custom snaffle
Pro-Tip - don't braid manes; especially in summer. Mane braiding impairs the natural purpose(s) of the mane, including some (partial) UV protection, insulation, and bug abatement. Also try working with an unlevered hackamore rig and try dropping the spurs.
I have wondered for a while why you have rescued a majority of smokey colored foals. This video shows why. The sagebrush would allow smokey foals to be better disguised. So much nicer to see this video and audio and , yes, you could really REALLY make good use of a drone! I wish I could send you one, but alas, I can only wish. Hey, maybe Freckles wants to be out with just his halter like Paint Horse! And no real horse can get in the trailer without 10 pounds of rolled in dirt, first.
Mama Bear is probably looking for abandoned foals, too, for different reasons.
You guys are the answer to an Europeans thought of how the American dream looks like!! So nice! 🫶
A drone would be awesome. Those stallions fighting would be epic.
What beautiful scenery! It must feel so good to ride up there with your horses!

Beautiful place. Awesome to see wild horses. So nice of your stewardship for the babies!!!

Beautiful country on horse back. Thank you for sharing your story with Ranger, Sage, shadow.
Love the sound of the song birds in the background. 🎶🐦
Oh Jordan, that's a beautiful horse. Paint pony, beautiful. Stunning landscape. 🌷🌷🌿❤❤🌿🌷🌷🌿
A drone would be perfect for searching for abandoned foals. You could program an area to scan and keep it low enough to see even foals laying down.
Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful country with us! I also love to see Freckles who has so much personality!
That little look that he gave at the end lol
I also took notice of that long look he gave her! I laughed so hard... priceless!
🦋💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🦋
hope you don't have to rescue any foals this year, but if you have to, they are lucky! loved the dust bath at the end !
I love the view, the birds singing and I wish you took people out for these rides!!!
Thanks for the great video. I loved checking the herd
Thank you for the education and saving as many foals as you can
i heard the meadow park my favorite bird. wish i was riding with you. thank you for checking on abandoned babies.
I love hearing the Meadowlarks, also!
Really enjoyed this video😁👏👏 The blessing to live there...amazing!!! 💞🙏🌌😁

Never seen such an exquisitely happy horse. Love your content.
Beautiful ride on the mountain on Freckles! He’s a trip! Love your videos!❤️🐎
Really enjoyed this video, so relaxing. Thank you.
You live in beautiful country, and you seem to be a wonderful guardian for the animals that live there. Thank you for sharing.

Love that you are rescuing them. Bless you! ❤
So beautiful ❤thank you for sharing
Jordan looked like little joe Cartwright from Bonanza riding up that rise on his painted pony! 😅
What beautiful terrain you r showing us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Freckles has such a beautiful head carriage. 🐴
Halters are weird, you'd think that we could make them better! 😏 I love seeing Freckles! He's so handsome! 😍 Nice braids too!!!
You folks are soo lucky. Thanks for sharing 👍.
So interesting that the horse has different looks for cows, and bears. Also, how astute you are for noticing the difference!
Thank you very much. Great vicarious ride.
Thank you both for another wonderful ride up the mountain. CH

Thats a Beautiful Horse you have there treat Him to a nice Leather halter !
Thanks that was fun. ✌🏻👊🏼

Sage and Shadow were re-homed around March 2022
Thanks for your kindness,,, Peace Love Happiness
Freckles is awesome.
You guys rock!
Wonderful videos
I notice Jordan rides with no bridle when working young and new horses. When does he introduce them to bridle and bit.
This varies for each horse… most times they don’t ever move to a bit (even ones that sell and have new homes) they just ride out so nicely in a halter hackamore. But if we do, once they are light to his aids the move into a custom snaffle
If you had 2 Australian Sheep dogs you could train them to find the foals.
Great suggestion. That thought never crossed my mind

Great video. UK
Thank you
Cheers to you.
Do you ever give the mares some time to return to their lost ‘feral’ foal?
Would the mares accept them?
FYI That was Bannock Bob. I was wrong - she said in part 1 that Jordan was on Ringo.
Love your videos, is your horses asthma pollen related?
Try a hackamore, instead of a bit. My horse loved it

What happened to Sage and Ranger from last year ??
Sage and shadow have new homes (and are doing very well) ranger is with us!
@@Camilleshorses Would like to see how they have grown in future video. Thanks for the reply
Wouldn’t a dog or two be a help in finding those foals ?
loved this ride
You mentioned a drone. Could you use one to look for foals?
Where is this just out of curiosity?? I haven’t been following long, just trying to get to know y’all ❤❤
British Columbia
@@janeoleary8454 Thank you, it looks like parts of western United States, incredible wild open ranges 😊
@@badgranny6311 Kamloops BC. To be exact

So cute.

You should get a drone you could cover a lot of ground looking for foals with a drone
Those horses breed like rabbits. Without some foal attrition the range would be overwhelmed.
A drone would be so useful to you
Stallions fighting, you might get a chance to see a horse with his head low and wagging like in the QH shows the only time in nature !!
You mean mustangs ?
This is B.C. In Canada they're called ferals or wildies, but yes they are essentially mustangs.
You are taking "lost" wild foals from their mothers...
Surely, a drone would upset wild horses. It's a predator sound.
No. I don't think it would. Most new drones are pretty quiet and it's not like they are gonna be flying it 6' off the ground...
Please pan slower. You're making me dizzy. Enjoyed the countryside.
Can I come and visit?? Gosh it looks so amazing!!
BAIT TITLE. NO FOAL.
