The amount of times I've had the ND filter on coming from outside to my studio is absurd. It happens. Thanks for the flight previews. Didn't cheapen the coverage quality at all. Ain't nothing to it, but to do it.

Thanks for the coverage Terry! This course is so refreshing to see played compared to the bomber tour courses. I really enjoy the audio levels being able to hear the players chirps after errant drives and big putts!
Shelton Springs is one of my Favorite west side courses. Im glad to see the tour and pros finally getting to enjoy what we have always known. PNW DG is the best around.
Great coverage as usual, Terry! Love the course! I'll take a wooded course over an open course every day of the week! It's refreshing to see a shorter, more technical course to challenge the pros. I think we need more courses like this on the pro tour.

Terry, I like the course...I like the tight tunnel shots. Like you said just before Hole #9 you have to be strong mentally on a course like this because you could end up scrambling for your life on every other hole. you guys can come to Rhinelander, Wisconsin and play Buck Lake ( Almon Recreation Area ) we have a nice wooded course...holes are not as long as this one is
Agreed. Very similar to GA disc golf…. I wouldn’t say the trees are that much smaller tho. I’m also from the ATL area and pine/oak trees can get pretty big.
I really enjoy watching the Pro Tour play these kinds of courses and wish they'd do it more often but as an actual dgpt event. Honestly we just need more WR Jackson styled courses for tournament play.

I thought that the Q series was for new up and coming players to contend to play on the pro tour? Why are all of these players already known, and already play on the pro tour.

I've been to this course. It's on The Olympic Peninsula. One of the most beautiful and unique places in the world.
This is the most fun I’ve had watching disc golf in a long time. Alden is great in the booth, amazing job guys!
Finally a course that is relatable to normal people and that a lot of people can play!

To answer your question.
Course reminds me of the Red course at Burns Park in Arkansas except a lot more hilly.
Unfortunately the tornado awhile back took it out.
I don’t blame the current pros at all for playing in this on their way to Portland Open. However, maybe let’s restrict top end dudes with tour series discs out from Q-Series events.

Hey Terry, hope you’re having a great weekend! I was wondering if you know where the FPO footage will be uploaded for this event? Thanks in advance!
It will all get loaded to my channel it's just a matter of me getting it edited and rather than having both divisions get delayed and mix mashed I'm doing the three rounds of MPO first and then I'll do the three rounds of FPO.
Planning for the release to come the subsequent days after I get MPO knocked out.

This course reminds me of the course where I cut my teeth as a disc golfer at Castle Hayne in NC home of the Azalea Tournament . Tight gaps and fallen trees lol

Ezra Robinson poised for another take down
They did not play the full pro layout. There is a mix of white an blue. Too bad it would have pushed them a bit harder and been a better watch.
Biggest issue with this course: Sooo much traffic noise.

so, let me get this straight. Tour card holders playing a qualifying for a tour card event? seems like a jerk move. step aside and let someone else play.
They do not take away any points for players trying to qualify and receive points and card holding positions and such.

Thanks for this coverage in between the "real" ones. The only thing different there could have been was that you could have included at least one or two future stars from The Q-series to The R1 feature card. All these guys are very familiar and not really in need of qualifying.
I mean, there’s literally a regional dude who doesn’t go on tour that 99% of us don’t know on the card.
I have followed disc golf since 2015. I think I have seen Withers multiple times in every season. The guy can soon play masters. Definitely not Q-series kinda player.

The TD wanted Niklas to be on feature card, but he didn’t sign up until the day before the event.
They signed up so late that cards were set and those guys punked us :) Seems like we'll for sure see at least one of them in round 2 :)
