Well done Pitso thanks for doing this in Cape town we were there last year and had no idea there was a place like this and we r retuning and we'll definitely pop in love from Ireland 🇮🇪🇿🇦💚❤️
Pitso is a great guy, he gave you an authentic experience. We had 4 of those photographs at my grandmother's house. Some look like paintings, and others are real photographs. He's right, almost every house in the township had them.
He's right, in the cape coasts its difficult to find the type of South African cuisine that you normally find inland especially in the north. I had the same experience in the Eastern Cape or Port Elizabeth. I even thought of selling or opening my own restaurant too. He did brilliantly by closing this gap, well done to bra Pitso 🤝 🤝
Bro im so impressed and inspired. laughing and the pics, are so real. i worked kwi hospitality industry for years and never heard about you place that is sad but i'll definitely make a turn.
bro if you'll get the time in your travels you should come to Durban south Africa and visit Mush Room in Mhlanga its a true native Zulu eat out location. really great seeing you'll doing this thanks guys.
Can I just say something about the pictures he mentioned in the background. I'm a south African and like he said most houses in the location had that picture. Now my parents growing up told me that was me😂 and being young I believed them! Until you started going into people's houses and seeing a portrait of me I actually thought I was famous in my young mind😂 till later actually sunk in that my parents lied😢 brings back good memories
This guy is struggling to explain tribal traditions in connection to food. It has nothing to do with poorness. These traditional foods were eaten by the ancestors way before whiteman subjugated South Africa. People need to educate the youth about who they are.

That depends which culture as I know for sure in Xhosa cultures the brain part is for the kids
