I feel like Mekka makin excuses for the labels poor behaviour. The truth is Joyner Lucas was hindered by the label. Labels are parasites in most deals. In some cases they give some benefit while parasitizing the artist but those cases are few and far between.
Yea these days labels are useless, unless you just want to sell them your album theres no need to sign a multi album deal.
