Jimin is the heart of BTS for me. He is the most expressive with his love of the members and his need to make sure they are all okay. The song has never been explained, some shippers make connections to jungkook and suga with the video, but i just think it shows his heart and how he feels about love. You should listen to Promise, jimin wrote that one.
I don't know if you know this one, but back,in May when the guys preformed the Rose Bowl, Shawn Stockman from Boys II Men saw them. He saw Jimin preform Sernedipity and went back to the studio...learned the whole song in korean..and than posted it on Instagram...that how amazed he was with Jimin...you are not the only one...look it up.

I remember when it was released I literally cried. The beginning of Love Yourself Era. Jimin is such a hard worker and his voice is very unique.

RM wrote these beautiful lyrics! The lyrics penicillium and calico cat are good things that happen by chance, examples of serendipity. Penicillium is the source of penicillin, the miraculous first antibiotic that changed the course of medicine which was discovered when a somewhat careless scientist accidentally grew mold in one of his cultures after leaving a contaminated for weeks. As for a calico cat, the chances of a male being born are 1 in 3,000 as it's impossible unless they have a rare gentic condition. Basically he's saying in a very smart way, "You are a miracle that I came upon by chance that has come to me and saved me." I'm always shocked by Namjoon's ability to come up with incredible, unique, meaningful lyrics while focusing on making the audible feel of the words beutiful and staying withing the limits of words that fit the melody.

Okay there are said to be multiple meaning of the song but it’s never been fully explained so far as I know.
A lot of people this song is a Jikook connection which is Jimin and Jungkook. The start of the Song DNA begins with Jungkook’s eye which is similar to Jimin falling through space. Jimin also said he said he would go to the moon with Jungkook. Jungkook’s favorite color is yellow.Destiny ( you are I and I am you) is apart of the song the Jimin and Jungkook have a joked a lot about. In Blood Sweat and Tears Jungkook had the green liquid on his finger which is similar to when Jimin pricked his finger.
Also, jungkook is a firm believer in destiny... he said this in a vlive:
