I need a Disney movie with this plot. The princess is tired of traditions, but unable to escape it, being tied back (metaphorically or physical both makes sense tbh) And when she finally meets her prince charming, she cries after their "correlation" and shouts or sings (again, idc) about how unhappy she is, stuck in a castle, in her ball gown, forced to look pretty 24/7, and the prince overhears it, and just scoops her up and takes her away, letting her do whatever she wants. (Edit: Just realized I literally just typed out the entire plot of Aladdin, but from jasmines pov 🤦🤦💀💀 I'm so dumb 😭) (Upon reading the replies: Mulan, tangle, Brave)
Aladdin is the worst Disney villain. He whines about how much it sucks to be poor and how unfair the system is, and then he get the power to change the entire system and dismantle the social structure that keeps him and his fellow street rats in poverty and what does he do with it? Screw everybody else, he just wants to be rich for himself and score a princess. Remember those starving kids in the street that he gave his bread to at the start of the movie? They’re still starving on the street while he’s flying around on a rug and living in a palace. Hate that movie.
