Shark,i saw a story why ghast are machines.ghast use to be players,but then the player die in the nether.the soul in the player got in the ghast. the player's soul can not get out.but when you put a ghast in a minecart in the overworld,you kill it ,then the soul in the ghast gives back to the player.

Fun Fact:if you make an nether portal but the obsidian is dirt and you activate it with liquid bedrock(you can get it by cooking obsidian in a furnace)you'll enter a god dimension where you'll get op gear and armour
Tip: You can kill a qhast with a stone axe in 2 hits (most best in bedrock) (I dont recommend going with armor with out practice) and also i love the nether like most people hate it and IT is my calming zone!

oh yeah when the minecraft devs made ghasts they wanted to spawn it in the overworld but mojang realised that it was too difficult so they removed the ghast idk honestly but i did know it used to spawn in the overworld but when they introduced the nether they brought the nether they put the ghast in the nether
I know why ghasts home is the over world it's because they are trapped souls in soul sand and a ghost becomes a frozen machine and the soul enters is and if you kill it the soul inside will become free - loverfellas vids and my comments ( maybe loverfellas vids, and I like your vids too ♥ ❤ 💖 💗)
