Treated by who? The media and their loser army do not have a voice in this process. The Bears are dumping the whole staff. It is so obvious...and necessary.
Vrabel seems to be the more logical choice by the day. The only question would be who he would bring in as the OC. Vrabel would understand from the player perspective the importance of rivalry games. Johnson nice guy, can he improve the offense with this line? Can he lead a team? Has more questions than Vrabel
What do we think Bill would do for our organization in a single meeting? Such a weird thing to keep harping about. I guess we're just already in the off-season emotionally
And why would he take a meeting? He's got no reason to do so. He's doing his own thing why would he give them time to teach the Bears when he has no intention of coaching there?
My vote is Ben while Poles needs to build the trenches on both sides (but more importantly the O Line) via top free agents & high draft picks. Best offense the last three seasons and he has the formula to beat the Packers.
It’s gotta be Ben Johnson. Especially with how many Ex head coach DC candidates are out there. You need a guy who’s gonna keep the offense running for Calebs whole career. Vrabel is safe with a high floor but a limited ceiling. Outside of Tomlin I can’t think of a true CEO (doesn’t call plays) whose had real success in the modern NFL
Ben Johnson has a full weapons closet and an online and also a reliable defense and depth: how can you even begin to imagine how he would be in Chicago when the line can't even block for any developing plays, or a run game , and by the way we don't have hard hitting backs anymore for some reason. So we can't RPO and we have a rookie QB with spotty accuracy downfield and the defensive line has no depth. Hell we are out of kick returners. All he has to do is offense with the best personnel and nothing else. It's not quantifiable at all. It's hell on earth
If Thomas brown doesn’t get a HC gig and is offered the OC job with the bears I think he takes it. It isn’t a demotion and he’s playing calling for a very talented qb. He’ll be on the short list for HCs very quick
Seems like a bit of an assumption to believe anyone was prematurely crossed off of any list. For all we know, he was on their "list" and they had just not reached out yet.
Belichick would also need to convince the Bears that he’s going to be coaching into his 80’s otherwise they will be right back at this again after not to long.
Their about to make another mistake by keeping a GM who clearly doesn't know how to build a team the proper way. And cannot draft o'line or defensive alignment to save his life
You guys brought in a guest and spent a whole podcast on the Bears picking a new HC? Why bother? Just look for the dumbest worst option and there you go. Flores is suing the league and had issues with a rookie QB. Treating him like crap. There ya go all done. Next problem?
This podcast is really in trouble. I cannot believe the garbage you putting out on this medium. Remember when you used to talk about what is really happening instead of all this theoretical mumbo jumbo. The joy in Jahn's voice when he said, "the first time the Bears have ever fired a coach in mid-season." tells the whole story of what you want for the Bears. Their failure is your click bait! Great. You guys hate the Bears. Got it...
hey will never be consistently good with this ownership. Only thing that gives me hope is that the Rams went through something similar. They drafted Goff and paired him with Jeff Fisher only to fire Fisher for Sean Mcvay. I’m hoping they could get this next HC right and right all the wrongs.
McCaskey wouldn't hire his own grandfather, too rough for ol George
I telling you 💯
That’s Wild!!
1. Ben
2. Mike
Great interview with Zack wow super informative!!!
This idea that the Bears could use Belichek for their own Intel is absolutely hilarious.
Truly don’t understand why Brown is being treated as an OC who we can’t let leave. Is anybody else watching the games?
Treated by who? The media and their loser army do not have a voice in this process. The Bears are dumping the whole staff. It is so obvious...and necessary.
No bill isn’t good without Brady. The best defense that I’ve heard to this is it would be different. Would it be?
And he is dating Caleb’s ex, so that could cause some issues.

With Vrabel do you think poles would talk to byard about things players didn’t like about him? From their time together with the titans

Who do you think would be the OC & DC choices for Johnson ??
Vrabel, Vrabel, Vrabel. It absolutely has to be a former HC. No first timers. Been there, done that.
John Fox worked very well.
@ so did the last two.
@@mmejia1981-jw3ye And Lovie Smith worked out. Shoehorning yourself into specific criteria of "needs former HC experience" isn't good.
Correct answer on Thomas Brown or Mike Vrabel
Is both
Vrabel and keep Brown as OC
Are we going to get a series of Jahns articles detailing the top 4 coaching candidates and how they operate on game day?
Hoge fell in love with Thomas Brown the very day he found out he has a link to Wisconsin.
Hoge doesn't like anyone on the Bears. These two guys and their unknown guest have a field day with trashing the Bears in this horrible podcast..
Just wondering why you guys would even consider Thomas Brown after last weeks first half. Total offensive yards were what, three yards?
24 points is generous
If the Bears want any shot to compete in this division they need to hire Mike Vrabel.
Over/under 12 feet of offense in the first half?
I’d take a serious look at
Aaron Glen and Vrabel

Only experienced HC need apply. No more learning on the job in Chicago. Please!
42-10. Vikings

A HC gig?
Why on earth would he be offered a HC gig?
Just get Vrabel and overpay a tonne for a reputable OC. Like double whatever is offered by their current gig.
Seems simple.
Darrell Bevell is long overdue for an HC job.
Can we stop talking about a guy who couldn’t win when he didn’t have literally the greatest quarterback of all time?
Seems like a bit of an assumption to believe anyone was prematurely crossed off of any list. For all we know, he was on their "list" and they had just not reached out yet.
The whole premise is lame. No one here is even closely qualified to make such a decision. As long as the new HC is not a rookie HC (again).
Belichick would also need to convince the Bears that he’s going to be coaching into his 80’s otherwise they will be right back at this again after not to long.
Belichik is coaching UNC
Their about to make another mistake by keeping a GM who clearly doesn't know how to build a team the proper way. And cannot draft o'line or defensive alignment to save his life
Patience is required
George McCaskey sits down when he pees!
Belicek talk waste of time
Looks like your schooling was a waste of time.
Flores tried to ruin a QB why is he even considered. Hes not the right fit for the bears.
????
Bill is also dating Caleb’s ex, so thats probably why he doesn’t like Caleb that much.
Get the coach right and all the nonsense goes away
Keep Flores and kingsbury the hell away from this team
You guys brought in a guest and spent a whole podcast on the Bears picking a new HC? Why bother? Just look for the dumbest worst option and there you go. Flores is suing the league and had issues with a rookie QB. Treating him like crap. There ya go all done. Next problem?
Not that simple... but go for it.
@ obviously you lack the ability to recognize sarcasm

Haven't heard Fisher's name till now. Is he available? I haven't seen him coaching a team this season.
You gotta be out of your mind if you rather have Flores instead of Glenn. Detroit fans are currently laughing at how stupid you sound.
