I predict this will be one of your most watched videos in a few months from now. I am from Kisii, and the guy who took you around showed you Nyanchwa estate and said it is where the rich live, but that is not the case. From my understanding, some of the rich people live in Gensonso. Others live in their farms away from town, but not far off, so it is really not possible to do a video of where the richest hide in Kisii. You are doing a great job.
Kisii is very expansive and busy, I think it is the sixth largest town after Eldoret, in terms of built up area. The only thing lacking in Kisii is wide streets and organization.
@@Cinc24TV No. Eldoret is a well spread out town with suburbs that extend up to 10 km from the CBD. In comparison, Kisii seems smaller and denser but not that expansive.
@@mfalmegreatness5482 well, I don't know much about Machakos but I don't like rating towns which are close to Nairobi metropolitan area. As for Kakamega, the roads are good and the urban planning is superb. However Kakamega doesn't have enough vertical structures to rival the likes of Kisii, but it is rapidly growing.
5 Things need to be done to make Kisii better & beautiful.... 1.Clean the streets, build pedestrian walkways & mark all tarmac roads. 2. Regulate/Control all matatus & Bodabodas operating within the town. 3.Build a market to accommodate all hawkers & roadside vendors. 4.Re-paint all old buildings & mushrooming mabati kiosks. 5. Control traffic to avoid congestion
A mass transit bus system can fund all the above if they are serious about developing kisii.. in addition every town or city in Kenya should have a sovereign fund to reduce their dependency on taxes

Nice video. Definitely, Kisii is one of the fastest-growing towns in Kenya. Western and Nyanza regions towns are doing so well compared to most other regions. This is despite their long history of being in the opposition. Kisii is definitely beautiful. Its hilly topography is breathtaking. But the county should put more emphasis on roads, at least expand them and create walkways etc., to modernize it.

In my honest opinion, just like many Kenyan towns, Kisii lacks proper town planning. There are no zones and everything is built in a freestyle manner. You find a shopping center just close to apartments complex that is also next to a bar that is adjacent to a mortuary. This is indeed poor town planning.
