Yes a ton actually. HP rolled out a BIOS update which caused some Mobo component to overheat and throttle the CPU. As far as I am aware it hasn't been fixed. M17 r5 has the motherboard flipped, making it annoying to repaste, and costs $500+ more than the Delta 15's regular price. 3. Omen 16 AMD Adv came out 2021, configuring in HP's website cranks up the price you might as well get the 3060 version since HP (and Lenovo) weren't having the driver issues that the Asus G14 had. 4. Strix G15 goes on sale on Best Buy but I have a friend whose Assu gaming laptops just fell apart. Literally. The chassis couldn't take the heat on the older stuff and he can count how many times he took it off his cooling pad. 5. Legion 5 has it but not the 5 Pro and my own Yoga 11 just fell apart. The heaviest load I put on it off my cooling pad at my desk at home was Powerpoint. 5 Pro at least is all metal. 6. None of the above are available local to me. Some I can have someone get off Best Buy and ship to me but it's either metal chassis with flipped motherboard or all-plastic with a vapor chamber that can get hotter as it pulls more heat from the CPU and GPU. The others I can maybe order from HP and Lenovo, but configuring them there sucks compared to the prices on 3060 and even 3070 laptops on Best Buy.
@@fluffypotato7475 Not as long as when my friend had his old Asus gamign laptop. It took a little over three years before the plastics started falling apart. What I need to know is if anyone who had this chassis this 2019 - which at that point was all Intel - had any issue with the plastic chassis in a warmer, more humid area like SEAsia. It isn't the vapor chamber as on the AMD Adv Ed which may suck motr heat out of the processor and may not all get ejected by the fans, but it's more telling of the whether the old chassis issues exist than an ~18mo old (max) Adv Ed.

Always mention S-rgb% A-rgb % and nits brightness of screens, on top of refresh rates and resolutions. All laptops have above 120hz nowadays. I want to know I can play a game during a sunny day, not just at night or behind thick curtains. Not everyone likes to block their windows and never see the sun or sky.
Seems quite nice, but then again I did notice the temperatures exceeding 90 deg C - so obviously HP haven't learned from their i7-8750H series of OMEN laptops!
I've had the g15 AE for a long time now and haven't encountered any problems
@@fluffypotato7475 Not as long as when my friend had his old Asus gamign laptop. It took a little over three years before the plastics started falling apart.
What I need to know is if anyone who had this chassis this 2019 - which at that point was all Intel - had any issue with the plastic chassis in a warmer, more humid area like SEAsia. It isn't the vapor chamber as on the AMD Adv Ed which may suck motr heat out of the processor and may not all get ejected by the fans, but it's more telling of the whether the old chassis issues exist than an ~18mo old (max) Adv Ed.

Which one is better for gaming?
Damn that rx 6500m is pretty weak. I got dell g5 se from 2020 with rx 5600m GPU. It performs way better than this. I got 60+ fps on cyberpunk 2077 on high settings with fsr set to ultra quality. Best part is i bought it less than $1000 in last year for Ryzen 7 4800H model. Definitely worth the price.
$1,000 "budget" laptop with inadequate cooling out of the box. I get that temps are going to be higher with a laptop but 90c is like your channel - Toasty
the fps would drop while jumping from the plane because it has to render in the whole map (like fortnite)
AMD are infinitely better at micro chips and onboard gpu’s actual facts. Ryzen + RX laptops are the way to go.
Bro got carried hard
Hey you guys can that laptop play warzone I notice you guys jt cover Fortnite and Apex it Would be good to know sometimes if the pc or labtop play warzone love ❤️ the channel
The 6500M is the same chip as the 6500XT on desktop.
Do not expect RTX 3050 performance.
Should have dropped the CPU to a 6600H and reduced the price.
You would even get better performance out of the GPU too (PCIe 4 support).
Rtx3050 laptop is weaker than desktop so they're about the same. Rtx3050 mobile does better in dx12 and rx6500m does better in dx11
Bought it for 499.99 lol importance of clereance sales
wow thats crazy too bad i cant buy it
Always mention S-rgb% A-rgb % and nits brightness of screens, on top of refresh rates and resolutions. All laptops have above 120hz nowadays. I want to know I can play a game during a sunny day, not just at night or behind thick curtains. Not everyone likes to block their windows and never see the sun or sky.
if this laptop only has one ram stick it's being seriously ham-stringed
Seems quite nice, but then again I did notice the temperatures exceeding 90 deg C - so obviously HP haven't learned from their i7-8750H series of OMEN laptops!
For portable stuff, this seems like a good option (don't play games on battery though), but if you have room for a tower PC, just get a tower PC.
Point of a laptop is not room.
Usually it's portability.
Especially if your work involves you to move around alot.
laptop CUP/GPU generally run hot, and that is accounted for on the engineering side.
Dam this is budget?i cant even afford a new tablet thats 300 dollars
$1k isn’t budget. I think below 800 is budget
you dont know the definition of budget
3:08 didn't know that a HDMI port was USB port 😳
