hope ya'll enjoyed this one. little bit of backstory here: the mario franchise has always been dear to my heart. in fact when i was about 6 or 7 the first game i've ever played in my entire life is mario kart wii & i still have that game to this day. i like to believe that if it wasn't for mario, i would probably be into games way later in my life, & would not have much of the creativity/passion in drawing that i have now. when i heard that song for the first time, i had a wave nostalgia hit me so hard, i actually cried tears of joy. i hope i gave you guys some nostalgia too. also who's going to see the mario movie when it comes out in theatres next year, cause i sure am.
& yes i did sprinkle in a bit of my headcanons, hope you don't mind. i'll post the artwork tomorrow.
