This performance is not only transcendental in itself but I even transcended the idea of what human beings are capable of while watching this video. It's truly amazing, your gift. The strange and alien movements, the divine order in the piece, it's all so impressive. Thank you and much love.

I love how she brings in the A minor with ppp at 2:32, likely with una corda (not visible though). What sobbing, yearning.... It would have been even better if she also did a subito pp at the high D-flat at 3:09. Most other pianists just rush through the entire piece with technique but no soul.

listen to the orignal version of this piece it's a masterpiece seriously i love the emotional changes and catchy parts in the original which are faint in this version(the transcendental set is the second version of the original hard grande douze etudes)
That is no doubt one of the best interpretations of that piece. She's pays attention to every single note, unlike some people who tend to play it too fast and it sounds jumbled. I started learning it and then stopped for some reason but I still play the very beginning some times. It's a difficult piece.

Although a subscriber to your channel, I only came across this rendition after having heard Trifonov and Ashkenazy's performances of this Étude (both astounding performances too). I am blown away by the poetry and unassuming virtuosity of your performance. I am utterly convinced that this is how the piece should be played and I think it really suits your style of playing.
I keep returning to this rendition. Transcendental is the word for it. I cannot find another pianist who matches this performance. Edit: the nearest I can find for quality of interpretation (and playing) is Georges Cziffra.
She plays the hell out of this piece. So fiery! You can tell she’s a real musician. Some people move in an awkward, fake way. Hers is so real!! Wow!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh this is such a beautiful performance. I would so much recommend you to have this as an encore, when you go to Germany next time! Love these exclamations, which Liszt use to express rage.
Dear Tiffany, Don’t let yourself be affected by the futility of other people’s comments. They are the ones at loss, not understanding music; following a prejudice that dictates only fast music can be good. Moonlight, 1st movement? Fast? No, but one of the greatest Sonatas written. Goldberg variations, 1st movement? Fast? No! Do not worry, continue your wonderful artistic life without letting blunt comments hurt you. We are here for you.
Your precision is insane. I would ask if you are actually human, but no robot could articulate that level of emotion. You are, hands down, the absolute best pianist I have ever seen. Forget those big name boys. Tiffany Poon all the way.
wonderful job Tiffany! maybe the mic for the higher notes was a little too close to the piano for me so when I was listening with earphones my right ear would hurt a little bit... so I had to lower the volume and then I couldn't appreciate as much the details... try to lower the highs and apply a lil more reverb... other than that, stunning performance 😍
