    The good old 12 to 14 Khz detectors like the T2, Tesoro Vaquero, and even the tesoro golden sabre ( for someone on a budget) with a big enough coils, are simply a good sweet spot for pulling deep old coins, the older 4 - 6.59 Khz were better for coins but, the 12 - 14 Khz offer a better discrimination. TBH since using the newer modern metal detectors, the Legend in my case, i lost the joy and itch for metal detecting, kinda wanna pull my old detectors out just to get me back into the hobby.

    Wow! Congratulations on the 2 silver Washingtons. I keep telling myself I don’t need another machine! (I have 7 already). 😅 I look forward to more T2 videos.

    Nice. 👍 A T2 or F75 will still hunt with the big dogs. Not to mention a Racer or Impact. Plus, you wont spend 2 hours fingering the keys.

    You never need 99 sensitivity lol
    Nice hunt
    Glad them settings worked for you buddy. Just got an f75+ yesterday. The silver tone has an unmistakable finish to it on these machines. Very pronounced whispiness

      Ya i started out around 85 and it was nice and quite so i continued to up the sens until i got to 99...It was still running stable..Not much EMI there..

    2 silvers quarters in any hunt is considered a very successful hunt.
    Looking forward to the T2 videos.

      @@WeirdGuyInPark you can use sensitivity 99 without any problem if there is no problem with EMI, it is only necessary to perform ground balance to low sensitivity, I have the feeling that setting the sensitivity to 99 will increase the power as if there were some other power boost, but this is just my feeling :-)

    Coin roll hunters in the United states HATE Canadain quarters because they see the nickel edge instead of the copper edge and think it's silver
    Sometimes the nickel coins darken a lot in the ground, get quite the toning

    You're going to love that T2, it's an awesome machine along with its big brother the f75. One of the most complete machines ever made in my opinion and many others would agree. I don't know if your model has BP mode but that kicks it into another depth level all together if it does. T2 for the score!

    • @WeirdGuyInPark
      @WeirdGuyInPark  День назад

      No it doesn't have the BP it's the original classic but that ok..
