It had to be rotoscoped on actual dancers and moves; there's no other way they'd going to get those moves. As far as I can figure it, they took dancer segments, took the label, tagged the characters from the label onto the body in the last frame of the segment, rotating and translating each character, and used the tagging for rotoscoping the dancer. In the transition they translated and rotated each character from the last frame back into its label position.

Acid Wash finally came out in 1995, albeit with a different mix (but still acid) and artist name on Chicago's Underground Construction label from the same producer that did other records for Housetime in the late 80s (Chris Chudzik (aka To Kool Chris). Once again, not too many people know it. Check for yourself on RUclips: 2 In Rhythm - Acid Washed (Underground Construction Records). As for what happened with the original mix/12" on Housetime? God only knows!!
