NFL punishment like DeShaun Watson’s 6 game suspension? Not holding my breath.
that was 11 games and the Watson cases were dismissed by the DA or thrown out of court, something like that, so he had no actual criminal offense that he was convicted of. That's much different than the slew of felonies and misdemeanors Rice is facing, 2 totally different stories.
Watson was suspended for 11 games. Basically 1 game for every 2 victims.

There's zero proof that Watson victimized anyone vs Rice causing multiple injuries in a crash he was seen running from, and the assaults he committed. Evidence vs no evidence, my guess is Rice gets a worse fate.
The way some of these kids are raised it’s miracle when they don’t end up like this.

This pre-draft news on Rice is "old" news...The Chiefs already knew about that red flag...That's why he dropped out of the first round...However...his recent behavior and actions are "troubling" and the Chiefs and NFL must get a hold on this situation and soon...Why did the SMU Mustang coaching staff and administration do something with Rice when all of this was going on???

I think at some point the teams who have access to these reports have to have some accountability.

Video from the nightclub shows the victim walking off from the nightclub without being assaulted. So who knows, maybe he's trying to pull a Jussie Smollet and get a payday.

As a huge fan of the NFL draft and a guy who borderline is maniacal about how much he watches and retains information about it, Rashid Rice was never ever ever projected as a first round draft pick. Had nothing to do with his personal information at the time. In fact, it was slightly surprising to me. He went 55. The dude had a good senior year, but he played it SMU. He was not small coming out, but he was not big either at slightly under 6 foot one 205 pounds. He was not slow, but he was definitely not running a 4.51. He did not dominate competition until his senior year. Went to the perfect situation and took advantage of it.
Oh this guy is perfect for the NFL. The league’s next Aaron Hernandez.

If the NFL doesn't have definite proof of this incident, I don't know how they can factor that into the punishment. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened, but you really strong evidence to punish the guy for something that happened in college.
