  • Joe Carass heads to Shearsby Valley Lakes demonstrating to great effect how he approaches commercial venues when looking to catch a real mixed bag of fish. Now that the summer months are coming to a close and some cooler weather can be expected, silverfish will undoubtedly play a huge role in commercial catches. Joe shows you how a bag of Groundbait and some maggots can be more than enough to enjoy your best ever days silverfish fishing, with a few surprises chucked in for good measure.

      @@Sonubaits and sorry, more serious question now. Will the so natural groundbaits mix backwards as well or is it the fishmeal/pellet content that makes it mix hard?

    • @Sonubaits
      @Sonubaits  3 года назад

      It's the pellets/expanders and fishmeal within those mixes that allow you to flood them and them come out fine. Natural mixes you have to be more careful with, we'd always advise a little bit of water at a time with them as they're less capable of absorbing lots of water at once

      Sonubaits good one. Looking at a new pole potentially. Is the response margin a good one?

    • @Sonubaits
      @Sonubaits  4 года назад +1

      It all depends on budget and what you need. The Response Margin is a brilliant pole, that is very strong. It is only 8.5m in length, so if you would be fishing longer lengths you would be limited... However, as Joe shows in this video, you don't always need to fosh extreme lengths to catcg lots of fish. The Response Margin is a great choice for shorter range and plenty capable of being used in conjunction with heavier tackle also. 👌

    Why oh why OH WHY, Do these videos always show a pro trying to force a bag full of groundbait through a tiny corner of a bag.
    Crack that whole top of and bing it in, less of that shake shake shake shake shake. Lol
