Italian tv was much more interesting in the 90ies: there was no politically correctness, much more experimentation and broadcasting was much less oriented towards "mind controlling". So true. It seems to be a big deal for a lot of Americans or at least people from around the New York area. Over here in the UK it's not something most people constantly mention but it does seem like nowadays the whole ancestor/heritage thing has become popular all over the place. It's kind of stupid and redundant but that's people for you. There is nothing more annoying than somebody claiming to be from a country they've never even been to. If you're born in the USA then you're American, if you're born in England then you're English. That's how I see it anyway. It just seems ridiculous to be proud of a place because your great grandparents came from there a hundred years ago. If all humans evolved from the ocean then why not claim to be a fish person.

Whatever you do don't bother with the botched and edited interviews on him, he always films his interviews people do with him and post them unedited.
