I've been using a tp-link one for a couple of years for my laundry machine and never failed. A bit more expensive, but still affordable and it seems super strong/safe and reliable in the long run
Hey there Caleb. I’ve not used switchbot nor a smart plug with esp32 yet but I use tasmota and esp8266 plugs all the time. Just to confirm, this switchbot plug can be converted to run tasmota? I can do the research but just wanted to confirm you’ve had it working? I love tasmota and it’s my go to. Thanks!

ESP32 inside it wonderful and this can be MITM OTA'd (switchbota) to run tasmota. Wonderful plug!

ok just went to website and was sure it says 110v and doesn't mention 240, but your on 240v???
now i cant find the thing on the website anywhere!
It won't on the US version for the compliance reasons but I have asked switchbot about this before plugging it in :)
@@notenoughtech yeah I thought they must be a 240v just a 110 makes no sense, i need a few to see whats using too much power...
I hope they come out in the UK soon. I'm tempted to rip one apart and see if I can fit it inside something with the UK's plug form factor 😁😁😁
EMF video?
Will come due eventually I'm buried with obligations and these have to take the priority
Thank you.
Apple Homekit? Lol
It does support it... For ppl with iPhones haha
