I have had Morris minors for over forty years and I agree with you Minor stopping power has never been road worthy. I have had all four corners of my moggy switched out to the “old Pharts parts” disk breaks and they give me confidence that when I hit the break pedal the car will stop. Even at freeway speeds like a modern car. Very nice upgrade.
A comment from Ol Phartz Partz. The hardware kit for the calipers is stainless spring steel and no it does not fit easily the first time. It is intended to spring out and hold the pads tight so, yes, it really is a bit of fun seating it. The 3 way brake tee on the axle of the New Zealand Van is different than most of the English Vans. The fact that this was a New Zealand vehicle was not known to us at time of shipping. That is a question that needs to be asked when we sell kits.
