If y'all don't know, One Pace is a fan-made version of One Piece that's edited down (somehow they did this pretty professionally) so the pacing is better and there's less filler and fluff. Pointless 20 second shots of landscapes and shit like that get edited down.

Sanji is my favorite Strawhat, and seeing what he has to do to his Captain and best friend, but Luffy being so innocent and naive calls him out so bluntly. It always makes me cry. Also the moment when Luffy punches him in the face and tells him "Say what you REALLY want!"

@@Samstar369 At least the Pudding x Sanji romance still has a chance of a happy ending when Luffy returns to Whole Cake Island after becoming Pirate King. All Sanji would need to do is go with Luffy to WCI, then actively seek out Pudding to show that he still cares for her even after all this time apart and even after they separated without a (remembered) goodbye.
At that point, she could give him the memory back, and while he's temporarily stunned processing the forgotten memory she can kiss him again, before saying to him "Let's get married tomorrow", the same line Sanji originally said to her that she made fun of in private.

@@Wolf_Blob I watched so many animes, nothing comes close. Storytelling, character build + backstory. Foreshadowing, concept and emotional weaves and animation + fight scenes are also top notch. Naruto great but if you ask me nothing comes close to one piece, not even my favorite die for anime bleach.

When I saw luffy break like that for the first time when ace died, I was in disbelief. This guy, who never lost hope in the past 500 episodes no matter what happened and was always cheerful and humorous, just collapsed and refused to do anything for days. That made you realize the sheer gravity of his grief.
even facing his own death in loguetown... all he could do was smile and reassure his friends, but once he realised his rock in this world had been beaten all those pent up emotions came flooding back in, the person he idolised the most, the person he looked up to. his brother.
I just hope that when Luffy meets Akainu again he unleashes hell upon him like never before we have seen in One Piece

No other anime has made me cry about an empty boat sinking. One Piece offers so many emotional scenes of every variety, from the highest joys and eager excitement, to the lowest pits of sadness and despair. Overall, the series is of a consistently higher tier than most other series.
One piece is a freaking masterpiece i cant get over it enough the fight scenes, storyline, the arcs, the people, the Character arcs, every small detail i love

This journey - there is just nothing like it. The artistry with which Oda captures the dreams of the characters, their hearts’ purest purpose, just resonates so deeply. What a time to be alive, truly, to be a part of this saga and its community.
You seriously put Señor Pink's backstory on the same level of emotion as Ace's and Rosi's death and the Straw Hats' backstory.
And i unironicaly agree with that.
His story is so underrated
Senior Pink definitely has one of the more realistic sad backstories. Makes it very sad when you can tell someone can actually go through it. Wonderful storytelling Oda 😭

That was me when Robin finally said she wanted to live. I spent my whole life thinking I wasn’t good enough and never would be, but seeing her, someone with the exact same beliefs embrace the future. It was just too much. I genuinely stopped watching for like a month I was so emotional.

By watching this video, I reflected the all the 1,000 something episodes of this journey. I was brought back to all the hardships and tragedies of all the characters, like Vivi who almost lost her home. If you think about it, the world of One Piece is actually pretty sad, with many power-hungry villains. The people that make One Piece worth watching are the Strawhats and all the humorous and diverse characters we met on the journey. Thank the world that we got to see this wonderful story unfold!!

One piece is the best anime and probably even fictional story imo but bleach is my favourite, even then imo one piece is better but I personally like bleach more cuz of the new arc

I actually needed this. I finished what there is of one piece not too long ago and have started rewatching already, and people wave it off as an obsession. Its an incredible show, and you need to watch the entire thing to understand just how amazing it is. Without context, or watching the whole show, Luffy might seem like another person just getting his confidence broken when he realises he wasnt strong enough. I know multiple people who've stopped watching because of how long it is and how many perspectives one piece covers, they've called it unnecessary but it's what makes one piece what it is. The entire story is long but worth it, and I'll be so sad when it ends.
It's not just an anime... But it's my home... My refuge. My safe place. My happiness. My sadness. My laughter. My emotions hidden because of people, Only they know how to make them come out... And only they succeed 100% I love them so much. They are everything to me. And they deserve to become what they want.❤

One piece is not only an anime. Oda create something that is more than a cartoon, it's not only masterpiece! It's a world with big story and a lot of riddles in that story. But there are not only sad moments, you forgot about it! But the edit is so good, and the background music complements it!
The sense of utter helplessness in the sabody arc where none of the straw hats can do anything when they face pacifica and kuma and disappear one after another, especially when you watch it the first time.

I'm currently at eps 1063, It's just the Pain, Suffer, In these stories, The fact that the edits fit perfectly on the song made it more emotional.
It is a truly emotional anime... Not "just" one.
It is one of the biggest and emotional ones.. Oda has truly won our hearts with warmth. I don't care about those haters. They don't truly understand any emotions here. I might have watched the whole anime. But just from this video, Oda won my heart from these clips. With all those deaths, and people leaving.. It's truly heartbreaking. Especially Law.

funny you mention because Oda said it himself that at the end he is going to stab us with two needles of sorrow. One because the anime is ending and the second one he said that he is going to make the most tear jerking story even more than the going merry, Ace, Sanji, or Ussop more than all of them combined. Personally I think it will be something that Luffy phisicaly cant do and he will have to watch one or more of his friend's die right Infront of him because of it or to achieve his goal. It will be one of those things where Luffy will be at the top but at what cost. It makes sence because for Rogger it was his life and any man in the One Peice universe looses something when they are at the top.

My first memories of one piece was of me and one of my brothers watching it on TV (it was passing the same episodes over and over) and my mom saying how weird that ‘cartoon’ was bc the characters looked weird, then my oldest brother watching one piece few years later made me binge watch it two times i don’t regret it. Obviously its not for everyone but its not bc you don’t enjoy a show that you can’t let others enjoy it.

I made a mistake putting this show off for years saying I don't have time or some other lame excuse. No words can describe this masterpiece that we have the grace to bare witness to and watch as we grow with these characters and along side them in their journeys. Thank you Oda for creating this masterpiece of a story and changing the lives of many around the globe with a simple show that has touched the hearts of many generations and many more to come.
I also did this, until my friend show me drum island arc and get hooked after that.
I haven’t been a fan of anime because I never watched it so I just said this kind of stuff was trash, but I was wrong and I regret saying that kinda stuff because one piece is the best anime that I have ever watched

One of the best, because for many episodes you ask, "Who the hell is this freak in a baby costume?" because you know Oda's characters are often crazy. Then it turns out to be the result of some heartwrenching trauma.

@@5AMUR4IHumans are emotional creatures but I think that's what brings us closer to understanding the world we live in the most. A lot of people have lost someone as dear to them or have felt emotions similar to that of the animated characters. If you were to lose your brother knowing that there was nothing you could do for him like Luffy did it would be almost like there was someone out there who felt exactly how u felt and understood your pain even if it was just an animated character.
No matter the obstacles, you fight back, no matter the injuries, you ignore it, you get the treasure, but your treasure is secretly your friends.

@@rlxrugoax5127 It's too hard for any pacing especially for weekly anime that's played on live television. Which is why the likes of Hunter x Hunter, Full Metal Alchemist get remakes. Onepiece and Naruto will hopefully get remakes too.

No matter how many people call any show ‘oh it’s just a cartoon/anime/movie/comic’… there’s someone out there in the vast world how has spent a whole life dedicated to it dedicated to all of it and you may think oh that’s only one life but if the show takes off then there are many life’s dedicated towards it so no matter what you say it ain’t ‘just a cartoon/anime/movie/comic’ it’s a whole group of peoples lives dedicated to it one piece is just an example there are thousands if not millions of shows just the same…

You have to watch it and trust me once you reach like epiosde 22-24 you will immediately start binging and be pulled in I'm on my 4th rewatch to wait for more epiosde to build up (it's the fourth time I've started back from the beginning to give the episodes more time to pole but I am at the beginning of wano technically and I only skipped the extras after the very first time I watched everything then) LOVE One Piece

For me, one of the most emotional moments was when Dadan was beating up Garp. The moment Ace died I was more in a shock / disbelieve state. You know, in anime people often get "leathal" wounds but survive anyways. The outcry of a foster mother about her child dying was hitting hard.
