Thank you. If the video came out beautiful, I think it is because the place itself is such an unspoiled beautiful island. Wherever you are on the beach around the island, you will be there alone in an entire nature. The camera I used is Nikon D7000; it is a digital reflex camera made mainly for taking pictures. It can take videos but is rather difficult to manipulate while taking one. For the underwater scenes, I used a Ricoh WG4 compact digital camera; this one is good and easy to use for underwater pictures and videos.

Thank you. It was in May. The spectacular thing about Bird Island is the colony of sooty terns who come here between May and September. Millions of sooty terns start gathering on the ground around late May, so end May toJune is the best time to see them. (Beware of the deafening noise and the smell !)

Very nice... Can you please help me with other details of bird island ? Like how to reach there? how much it cost ? What about the food/drinking water/beer ? How many days are sufficient here ? I am planning for Feb19 :-) thanks in advance.

The only way to reach Bird Island is by small planes from Mahé airport. You will be booking the air transport at the time of booking a room at Bird Island. If my memory is right there are 28 rooms (bangalows) which are all identical. It costed around 300 euro per night (for 2 persons) when I stayed 3 years ago but it may be higher today. It is still much less expensive than other hotels in Seychelles in general, and the price includes 3 meals per day. You cannot drink the water in your room, but you will be given a thermo bottle which they will fil fill with cold ice water if you bring it to the dining room at the meal time. Of course you can get most of the usual drinks (beer, soda, wine, etc.) at the bar at any time. The meals are buffe style, and I was very much impressed with the quality considering how far away we were from everything. There is no air conditioner in the room, and at first you will feel very hot (almost intolerably hot) but strangely you get used to it soon. No windows, no keys to the door…and that is what is good about Bird Island.
I stayed for an entire week last time. I could very happily stay even for 2 weeks. Many people seem to stay only for a night or two, but I honestly think that is a pity. The beauty of the nature and the sea here is such that I would never want to leave the island. You walk on the increadibly beautiful beach around the island, and you will probably meet nobody but the birds (and the turtles).
