Always enjoy seeing what Golos can do! Played against a super friends build the other day; it's incredible how resilient that kind of deck can be. Also, watching this channel has convinced me to give MTGO a try. :)
I've always wanted to make a Dune inspired Commander deck around Hazezon Tamar with Sand Warriors (Fremen) and Sand Worms (I've got a fairly completed deck list). If he wasn't so expensive in paper, and it wouldn't be a total dork move, I would probably build it. Either way, awesome game, thanks for sharing.
You never know, he might get reprinted in this huge commander set we’re getting next year. Unless he’s on the reserved list. I have no idea if he is or not to be honest.
@@tribalkai He is on the reserved list. Probably one of the reason why I would just proxy the Dune Deck for fun, and only for a group that would appreciate the reference, lol.
I played against a Golos deck this morning, and his Glacial Chasm bought him so much time I almost lost to Maze's End. Gonna look into some easy land hate that goes into any deck like Field of Ruin.
K. I paused the video at 21:05. You've just put Avacyn on top of the library. I think I would have kept her in-hand. Knowing that the Dimir player could exilmill your top library card. Seemed like a risk I would not have taken. Let's resume the video and see if Avacyn gets eximilled. edit: Fixed term Simic with Dimir.
Yeah that’s the plan. I’m going to put together of friends list of people that don’t scoop early and have an understanding of the fact that we all need to operate on the same power level.
1st, You play Golos the way I play Golos. Your opening hands look like mine when I play lol. 2nd, The Haze-On play could have cast his general and gotten a ass ton of tokens out instead of scooping......
So does targeting a play to much, even if it's warranted ever make you think "if I do this they'll scoop"?? Does the threat of people online scooping mess with the way you'd normally play??
@@tribalkai absolute gash. We got a bf\gf couple that we play with and it's the same thing. If she gets targeted to many times (with good cause) she's makes him pack up and head out. I feel your pain

Nice one. It's definitely worth giving a go. The cards are cheap enough for the most part anyway so a single deck won't cost that much.

Great video , has really changed my mind about Golos
Thanks for the deck list
I've been considering building a Golos deck. I like watching gameplay of potential decks :)
Not a bad game. I have a Hazezon Tamar deck I absolutely love. I would have liked him to stick around longer to see their version.
Golos is so versatile!
My favorite build is the big spells variant. Focused on activations to cheat cost.
I was intrigued by the lobotomist deck.

*Dimir player, but yeah I also tought about that, you have to be careful with the top of your deck with circu around
Some day you will get through a full 4 player game without people dropping.
Not with randoms I won't :)
@@tribalkai Are you able to make a group of friends you can play regularly with or people you used to play with a LGSs?

circu was bizarre

Without a doubt it definitely effects how I play. I make suboptimal plays all the time just to dissuade my opponent from scooping.

Dude sounds like he needs to grow a spine.
yeah,this one wasn't a perfect showing.
But its the exception
Instead of going for zendikar resurgent you shouldve gone for miraris wake into three visits
Puke, Vorinclex. That card should be banned, purely because it breaks the colour pie.
