- We were invited by Sail Croatia to experience a week on one of their Elegance cruises. Our home for the week was the cruise ship Queen Jelena and this was our itinerary -

In episode 1 we embark our cruise ship Queen Jelena in Dubrovnik.
We give our first impressions of this ship and service on board and meet our fellow passengers. We start our 7 night cruise and head to our first island of Mljet.

Looks great, So intimate and friendly. Paul is just like my OH Den, I have to drag him to bed, Last man standing i call him. Lol. Looks like you had so much fun swimming and cycling, I had a chuckle as the last time we hired bikes in Florida I fell off my bike, Twice! Twisted my ankle and that put paid to my dancing days for the rest of the holiday.
Den still rolls his eyes if anyone in our company mentions bikes to this day. I am so enjoying reading and watching your cruises,it makes my day. Thankyou both. xx.😄😄😄

I did a similar cruise on a Grand Circle Travel vessel from Slovinia to Greece with many of the same stops as your cruise. We had 48 passengers on board, and I was able to book a single room on that ship. It's the only cruise I've been on that was truly all inclusive...didn't even need to provide a credit card when checking in because everything is already included...all food, drinks, mini bar and all excursions! Expensive but WELL worth it!

Love you Both! I am always reminded that Brits use the word "Lovely" while we Americans use good or great. It reminds me of my childhood when if a person said thank you for something, a nice reply was "My Pleasure". No one uses that anymore, except me. Sad, I will use Lovely more often. I’m so glad you enjoyed your first full day. It’s quite interesting to learn about small ship cruising. It seems very similar in nature to a river cruise in that the land excursion is planned for you if you wish to participate. And the food presentation looks lovely. Onward..

Great video, very informative. I loved the format, similar in some ways to our Galapagos Islands cruise with 18 passengers although we did have dinner onboard. I'd be up at 5:00 with you Carole for those sunrises and sail aways. Paul's missing the best part of the day.🤣

Sounds great….thanks for showing Us all the different cruises you have been on..I’m jealous….we have a 5 month old spaniel puppy (had him from 6 weeks old)..so can’t really go anywhere atm…so it’s just doggie walks….training…biting and teething issues ..and pee’s and poo’s every 2 hours!..bless him…its enthusiastic puppy time for us from morning to night…but I get to take timeout for couple of hours to watch you …takes me back to when we were cruising 👍

Croatia is our favourite country and you always do a full and fab review of the holiday and ship. Even though lots will love it, we still prefer land holidays in Croatia and then our lovely lovely big ships. We hope to do Cunard transatlantic in 23 and go 14nights, cruising there and back. Any views on if this is "too much Cunard" or will be great.
Hi Janet, We would do 14 nights Cunard no problem, love the experience. Everyone is different, and agree if you find somewhere you love land based holiday is the best to explore properly!

Hi Caroline, Menus were set, however there were passengers who discussed the menu and had alternatives.
What time of year did you go? Would beginning of October be too cool for swimming. Do I need to bring an adapter, I am from Canada.
October would be cool, yes you need an adapter!
did you have much sea sickness?
No. We did feel some movement and vibration at times but very little!
