10:55 The thing is that in South Africa we have been through a lot and are still going through a lot that we have learned to laugh and dance through our problems.
@@OrapelengTawana I do think I know what you are getting to, but out accent is not really neutral. While they sound much softer than west Africans, it might simply be that we are familiar with them.
I live in a small city in the middle of the country (under 300K) and I have seen foxes, several of them. Also raccoons. One night I was woken up by noise behind my house. I thought maybe it was some friends who got drunk and thought it might be funny to sneak up on me. I went out the back door, turned the corner expecting to surprise them. I did surprise a group. only it was a small group of raccoons instead. The first thing that came out of my mouth as we stared at each other was "Oh. It's YOU guys. Keep it down, will ya fellas? I'm trying to get some sleep." Oddly enough, I never heard a peep out of them again. :D
This was fun. Hope you check out Loyiso's second appearance at the Apollo too. It's longer but funnier imo. Oh yeah, and brace for discomfort 😂😂 It's his shtick
Yeah there are actually a lot of foxes here. You can be in the most urban neighbourhood and you’ll see a fox running down the street. I’ve been here for 12 years and I’m still the shocked/terrified foreigner every time I run into a fox.
Hi guys. Love the reactions. Started watching you'll with the indian reactions. Awesome. Couldn't believe you'll started reacting to Trevor Noah. Obviously we're very proud of him as South Africans. I think South Africans can find humor very easily in racism because we've acknowledged our racist history and have dealt, and are still dealing with it but always moving forward. I am constantly seeing the changes and progress people have made since apartheid and it's a beautiful thing. Proudly South African 🇿🇦
Thanks for following us for so long. We love Indian content to react to but we also want to branch out to other countries. TN is amazing. He’s become one of my favorite comedians. I admire your viewpoints on progress. USA also has an ugly history with racism and there is much ground to needs to be made. I’ve seen lots of positive changes since BLM.
I have a refugee staying with me. They have foxes in their country but was amazed at how "tame" they were. Once I told him the country is rabies-free, he picked up the courage to pet one of the older foxes.
LOL I love how you were like "he's a new comedian"... ah man Loyiso G is an OG!!! He's been in the comedy scene for decades even before Trevor Noah was famous. Both are excellent smart comedians and when you're South African or know a lot more about the history of South Africa the jokes slap harder, as you saw the Brits also getting the history related jokes. Glad to see other Southies getting more recognition... this is his latest one at the Apollo and also brilliant ruclips.net/video/La8NVOjByOw/видео.html
The urban foxes thing is true, you could say we have a healthy respect for each other. It's a, you don't mess with me and I definitely don't mess with you thing. They do sound a bit like a woman screaming for her life, when doing it. If you didn't know the sound, you would call the police. Also its not just a London thing.
@@BoringReviews LOL yep, the sound can be weird, but they are only really doing it at night time/after dark. They are mainly nocturnal, but you might have some stragglers that ain't gone home yet in the morning because of doing it. Or you might see them in the day because of lack of food where they normally get it from.
@@BoringReviews We took a mates kid brother camping. And foxes was doing that sound. We waited about an hour to tell him what it was. It was funny, and he learnt something.
On the white maid thing. Media censorship was a big thing back then. A couple of years ago I was watching a documentary where Italian immigrants were collecting trash in New York City He literally sat back and gasped, just watching in utter shock as he was seeing white people do something that he was always taught was a black man's job
10:55 The thing is that in South Africa we have been through a lot and are still going through a lot that we have learned to laugh and dance through our problems.
Based off what I have heard and read from history, black SA's have been through a lot. Much love.
True..... we dance when we are happy, or sad, or angry, or etc.
That was awesome. Great reaction. I think he Trev are good buddies. I thought you guys would love the newer one, it's much more fine tuned. 2022
Oh yes, I have watched it several times and still can't get enough of it. he is more polished
You know why South Africa has the best Comedians? Because our accent is neutral 😐 .
Lol 😂😂
Not really. There is Julius malema
@@marcopeel he's a special case. And also he's speaking political English. 😂

Yeah we have lots of foxes in London very normal to see foxes or hear them at night
In the UK we banter about everything.

Absolutely. Thanks foe the request. It will be released this week
Looks like brother tryna make a point to those who always talk about Africa as if we have wild Animals all around us🤣🤣
This Apollo is in London, UK - not the Harlem, New York. Referendum in UK was about exiting membership in EU
The referendum was in regards to “Brexit”….England did a ballot box style before they left the European Union 🇪🇺 5 years ago or so
It's true about foxes. I live in London and they are everywhere.
there are 2 apollos in the world , 1 in england and the more famous 1 in Harlem new york
I can ce 2 confused persons. Don't be, I hope you enjoyed the show.
