Good morning from Lagos. Thank you for the message. We are installing it as we speak. It will be up by tonight and I will do a video tomorrow. I am as excited as you are.
Doctor, what 2 mppt hybrid 5kva 24vdc off grid inverter do you recommend? Or what 5kva 24vdc off grid inverter. I have 10kw lifepo4 storage and 2.5k of panel, my current inverter not up to the job, want to run air con and washing machine..
Hey Chris thank you for watching and commenting. I am not familiar with a 5 kva hybrid that is 24 V. The Victron easy solar might offer you something that comes close but it is not a true hybrid in the sense. If you want to run high amp devices, I suggest you do 24V minimum. I am considering higher voltage down the road
@@drsolar Thanks for your reply, the only thing that's holding me back on 48v is some expensive 24v batteries that may not work in series. I've been avoiding victron, as it cost loads, and I think there must be other alternatives as good. There maybe a growatt out there for me, but isn't available from UK suppliers, so research on alibaba. I do see products only for export to Nigeria, at good price, which I find frustrating, on alibaba.
@@chrisfryer3118 I feel your pain. It is not easy to find affordable 24V inverters that come with good warranties outside of those that we already know. You will have to bite the bullet and purchase one on Alibaba
@@sabilza two strings one to each mppt. If you have three 8 kw as long as the total Voc of your panels is less than 450V then one string into the inverter
Sure it will work and good but your real problem is you need more panels. IMHO AC coupling is the only way to go. 80% of the maximum production of the grid supplying inverter is maximum size so the inverter can control the frequency is a general rule of thumb. It is amazing to watch it do it's thing.
I need way more panels than I have at the moment OGW. I will pull one string from the inverter and test it on the PV inverter and then do enough business to get me more panels. By the end of the month I hope to add between 2 and 3 kwp. I am doing 1 for 1 on the inverter. I should have asked Deye what they suggest. Victron and Schneider tell you 1 for 1. A 5 kw battery inverter to a 5 kw PV inverter. I can't wait. Ran into a little snag. My folks stripped something so we need to get it fix to put it online it is relatively easy to do. Thank you for watching and commenting
Hi, I'm also using Deye 5KW Hybrid with 7KW panels, it generates upto 5.8KW from PV and I also want to extend via AC coupling but with microinverter. I asked Deye about AC coupling limit , they suggested 2 to 3KW for AC coupling and MAX allowed is 5KW. Make sure you don't exceed 5KW.
Thank you for the heads up. I will do my best to not exceed 5 kw. It is not likely to happen in the immediate future. I considered the microinverter first before I settled on the PV. Did not want to climb on the roof and remove the connections. Update me once you do yours. Thank you for watching and commenting

How is the deye inverter condition after few months? Do you have any trouble?
Working fine with no problems.
